if and if he was a suicide bomber then the police did a fantastic job, about time we started treating these scum like they treat us.
anyone in any of the forces whether it be police, army, navy, etc etc have my utmost respect as they do a job which I couldn't.

Hello
There is going to be hell to pay for:
I hope they find a gun or explosives on him.
Steve
There is going to be hell to pay for:
One of them was carrying a black handgun - it looked like an automatic - they pushed him to the floor, bundled on top of him and unloaded five shots into him.

One of the reasons this is happening in London is that both Red Ken and Tony Blair have shown themselves open to this kind of action. Ken is a long time supporter of both Irish and Arab terrorists and has been open about this support. Tony has had Irish terrorists in Number 10 for tea, including one who detonated a huge bomb in London which resulted in the death of one person.
If I were a terrorist the first thing I'd do would be to strike in a country which has demonstrated that it gives in to terrorism. So when you see Red Ken up there with a long face just remember that he encouraged it and might even have assisted, indirectly, in paying for the devices now exploding in London. Apply the same logic to Tony, as soon as the Irish terrorists started bombing London he started talking to them and inviting them round for tea.
To be honest, in view of this track record, it is a surprise that London doesn't have more terrorist attacks. If I were a terrorist I wouldn't go to America but if I thought that the Mayor of London might support me and the PM might invite me for tea if I killed enough people then I'd be concentrating my operations on London and I wouldn't give up until I got the political and international recognition that Ken and Tony have given to others. There is no such thing as a good terrorist, some people condemn one group while viewing another group as "freedom fighters" for example and, again, this attitude encourages a diverse range of groups to chance their arm. All terrorism is bad and is an attempt to reduce the freedom of the majority by allowing a small group to impose their views upon everyone. The way to fight this is not by giving the terrorist support or recognition as those two idiots in London are doing as that only encourages all terror groups that their actions will eventually give them what they want.

THe same eyewitness also said they they werent uniformed firearms officers. When you consider that as 'plain-clothed Policemen', they could actually be Special Branch, Anti-Terrorist Squad, MI5.....or perhaps the Army.

What is amazing is the eye witnesses who give accounts to the Press before the Police....helpful with trials. Nice to see Ian Blair picked up on this yesterday....

newly occupied nation attacks us - terrorists
Insurgents in other countries whose regime we do not support - freedom fighters
Insurgents in other countries whose regime we do support - terrorists
See a pattern building?

Well they must have been trailing this bloke since yesterday to get more info from him. I don't believe all 4 escaped scott free yesterday. Too much of a coincidence they just happened to be at the right place at the right time today. More a case of followed those yesterday and see where they go and try and find more properties to search and see what their next actions would be.

Now that Tony and Red Ken are facing the possibility of a dirty bomb in London they will go running to talk to any terrorist organisation who will speak with them. In turn this becomes a catch 22 situation.
