Yup same here, been watching (in the background) for a couple of hours and it screwed up about a minute to go.
Had to switch to the low quality (but working) BBC stream with about 10 seconds to go - phew!
At least the launch went smoothly.

I'd been watching the live stream all morning and it gave up just before the launch so I watched it on News 24 instead. Excellent stuff! I loved the view from the fuel tank as it separated from Discovery. You can track it here, well, I'm assuming you will be able to once they update the site

Not the sort of news the crew would have been wanting to hear. I bet their butt cheeks will be well and truely clinched when they hit re-entry point

Why did they announce "we're grounding all shuttles" while one was still in orbit? Nice of them to think of the astronaut's stress levels on re-entry
Could have waited until it was down surely?!?

The crew have been out taking pictures, they must be very concerned. Thing is if the damage is critical what are they to do? Stay at the ISS and wait until another shuttle can be sent up, now they have all been grounded?! The Russians could help...
Oh the loss of face if they have to ask the Russians to rescue them

I saw that they do have a supply of tiles and cement etc for repair on board the Shuttle as well as a special arm they can use for that particular job.
Just hope the damage is not too serious.
