Another Prague Question

LOL, no clinic required mate.
So here goes:
Got out there by the skin of the teeth, if we hadn't got a good friend at BA we would have never have got to Prague.
Did mention that Friday 12th August was my 5th Wedding Anniversary? Thats how much control of my Missus I have!
Anyway the cabs outside the airport should have fixed fares into town, we took two minibus type things as there was so many of us (13), roughly £25 each vehicle.
Hotel was just off Wenceslas Sq and right next door to - Darlings! Safe to say we were very pleased.
Wenceslas Sq has all of the real tourist stuff and is consequently expensive. Even the Sports Bar there had prices almost the same as over here. Not short of Brits though esp when showing the footy on Sunday pm.
By this stage we didn't mind as we had had quite a night, the night before.
If you like cheaper bars and restaurants but that are still good then the Old Town is better for you. A good 10 minute walk, but dont be lulled as to the proximity as we were. If you walk between the Old and the New often enough you soon sober up!
I am sure you can find cheaper bars around, but I am not so sure that they are in as good a location as either the Old Town or Wenceslas Sq.
Overall a very nice place. We were there for such a short time because of the BA strike we had no real time to explore other possibilities. No local bars with local people etc etc.
I would go back but more likely with the Wife. I think Amsterdam is better for Stag Do's, IMO.
Can't say anymore, Law of the Stag and all that, plus my Wife does occaisionally read SN. If you want the real lowdown, PM me.

Went with 5 of my mates on Thursday and got back yesterday night. We absolutely loved it and not just for the girly bars.
There are a few British bars there so we made a point of avoiding them and tried to move out into the more local bars and we found some brilliant places to eat and drink. In the whole 4 days we ate out twice a day and didn’t have one bad meal. We found a great cellar bar about 5 mins walk off the old town square that we could get a round of 6 quality Czech beers for 198 crona (5 quid) and a trendy restaurant called H2O which served up top quality food for peanuts.
And then there were the girly bar's which we amazing. We went in one on the last night just off the main strip by the museum. I made my mind up that I wasn’t gona **** or get a blow job off a bird who was basically a pro so I had what was called the “private touchy feely dance”
which stopped just short. 1500 crona well spent I because the bird was totally stunning![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Thats the link but the site aint in english. We booked it through a tour agent (http://www.praguetourservice.com/) so probably paid a little more but we did have a mini bus thrown in.

Bah, wish I'd known about that place! ![Mad](images/smilies/mad.gif)
I was there the last 2 weekends. But for a nice change I just did the wholesome things like a tour round the castle, and lots of relaxing walks along the river, and around the old town area.
Lovely
