Oakleys are tops. Very very good optical quality and superbly made.
If they break you just return then to base, and they come back good as new.
And they look the best. Ray bans are a bit old mannish, unless you are in an F16 that is.

I've had the same pair of Oakleys since 1997 and they have stood the test of time amazingly. I broke my old fashion mistake dayglo blades and Oakley replaced them with a new pair at half price.
Think thats been covered before on here. Don't know many companies that will do that.

My wife sat on my first pair of Oakleys bending one of the arms, when I left them on the passenger seat.
I sent them to Oakley with a note saying let me know how much the repair would be as it obvioulsy was my fault. I received the glasses back within 3 days, all repaired and no charge.
As said above I don't know of many companies who would do that.
With customer service like that I am happy to go back to them, in fact I'm on my third pair now.
They are expensive but last, as long as the wife doesn't sit on them
I do contract work abroad so have never paid the higher UK price.

have been wearing oakleys for about 10 years, originally bought them for the look but also fantastic for sport, light weight, grip your head, really good for snowboarding with irridium lenses
am also an oakley slag, 2 x c wires, 2 x e wires, 1 x a wires, never went for the big plastic look though, except for my first pair. last year bought some 8.0, limited edition titanium with nearly clear lenses. if you are a member of david lloyd you get 10-20% off the price in the club shop too.
have found oakley a fantastic company to deal with direct, any probs, you call them, they send you a prepaid box to send your sunnies back in and get back within a week.
they have sent me arm rubbers free, and stickers for my car, ( a few years and cars back) aswell.

Wouldn't buy anything else, mainly because I find I look after more expensive glasses better than I do cheap ones. The T-Wires are especially gorgeous, weigh absolutely nothing - best glasses I've ever worn.
