Had a quote on a S-reg TVR Cerbera worth £16,500 and it was £770 on my dads insurance me being 21 at the time, I ended up getting a 04 WRX and paying £800 on my dads insurance. I know what car I would rather had, but I know which car would be more expensive if anything went wrong.

I'm having exactly the same problem at the moment. I currently have an Integra DC5 and although it is a great car, easily as quick as my old RB5 point to point, it's just not that much fun to drive around town, too many blind spots etc. Today I took a 350z out for a tester and it was rally good apart from the fact that just as you start enjoying yourself you have to change up ? it needs longer gearing.
I'm also looking at Evo8's I'm thinking about the FQ320 but they seem to be like rocking horse **** at the moment. I've also looked at the S2000 but again there is a supply problem

I'm not going anywhere near the scooby but thats because I've been there done that

hmmmmm anyone driven an Audi S4 ??

[QUOTE=bren.wright].

Hi Gary, I remember you from the PGAC, do you still have the 205? I was initially after an evo 6 TME/7 RSII because you can pick up a real bargain at the minute but they are so much more expensive to insure than an evo 8.

Yes bren still got the 205 and it regularly kicks jap crap ****

Mine's been OK for two years. Only things it's needed are a throttle cable, driveshaft and a new radiator. I thihnk you'll find, for example, that a Ferrari clutch costs less than a Subaru clutch...

If you test an S2000 - take it for a long ride and severely thrash it. A lot of people try them and dont try them properly, and are dissapointed
