The yellow type r is my young brothers(he`s only 21)
Its the same car as I remember him telling me that a uk scoob with `the same wheels as me`parked next to him at the capitol centre.(By the way i`ve warned him not to park it there as from the stories in the LEP its one of lanc`s fave car robbing spots!!)
Ive also noticed you myself coming down lostock lane past poachers but i was in my works van!(White vaux combo with W LIVESEY GAS SERVICES in yellow writing on a purple background.)
My own car is a white 94 L###SUG RA.Its running full stainless decat system with gold 17" COMPOMOTIVE 5 spokes and STI four pot calipers. The boot lid also has the later WRX sticker in the middle.
Under the bonnet is the standard RA motor with IC spray and a standard fifth injector.I`ve also removed the standard RA`s close ratio gearbox and rear diff and replaced it withe full UK spec gearing. This means that ive got all the benefitsof the uk gearing (motorway friendly) with the closed deck, strong group n rally engine of the RA.

21st is the same day as a couple of track/airfield days.
28th is the day after Oulton Park, and the same day as the York meet.
Looks like Febuary?
Have you sorted a route yet? From experience, that takes two or three weekends to get it sorted out, prepare route planners and check route plan good fun though

ive seen your type r at the squirrel pub bispham a few times ,nice motor . you might have seen my mates white Preg type r flying about also.
theres quite a few people from around the Blackpool area on here,i'll have to set up this meet soon but its very rare thet i get time to sort it out ,are you willing to help? the route needs sorting out ,a good place to start from would be Kirkham (straight off the motorway)then through elswick, dolphinholme,Caton, then Kirby longsdale(Devils Bridge)What do you think???

Hopefully someone in Scoobynet higherarcy will hear our plea for assistance. Thought of a couple of ideas to get things rolling.
1. Arrange a night meet, like the one at Wiggin Tree, to see what sort of support we could get.Possibly some where between Blackpool and Preston. Blue Anchor Pub ? M55 Jnct 2
2. Maybe a mini meet on a Sunday. Again to see what sort of response we get.
What do you think Scooby Nutter and any one else out there.

I'm up for lending a hand, this blackpool meet is becoming an urban legend!!! so many people are interested but still nothing?
We need to look at a couple of routes with poeple with knowledge of the area and then do a run of the route, make some notes and set a date! it's really that simple. So I'll commit
for a sunday run/recce.. anyone one else up for it??
cheers' CRAFT

As I said above, I'm happy to lend a hand, as will many people.
Basically the biggest, and first part of the plans beed to be the route. 40/50 miles, entertaining without the need to double speed limits, bt on roads that arn't likely to get rediculously clogged up either! Then sort out a start point (big car park) and a finishe point (pub). Once the entire route has been sorted, get a 'co-driver' and drive the route while he takes notes so you can devise a comprehensive route plan. Once that has been done, drive the route again using just the route plan for guidence, if you find the end - you are ready!! All you need than is a date, with plenty of warning (but no much ), ideally a Sunday for best attendence. Thats it

Scooby Nutter,
I am willing to help out on the route planning stuff, I think, as JonnyBoy has already suggested, we should have a Blackpool/Preston/Fylde get together one evening to meet each other and do a bit of planning?

nice one guys, jonnyboy, andrewc, craft,if we get together one night and plan this thing out we could sort out the route that night.then the following weekend go on a recce and record the route.ive got a good route in my mind but i'll see what you think.
i use to go to devils every weekend on the bikes so i know some good fast roads!!!
we could get together next week if everyone is up for it at a local pub for us all and plan this thing,
The response is amazing when this gets into action it should be a day to remember!!

Next Tuesday or Wednesday are good for me, howabout one of the pubs just off the M55,
1. The Fairfield Arms/Blue Anchor at Kirkham
2. The Phantom Winger at Broughton,
All are easy to get too, fairly large places we could sit round a table with a map.
Just my two-penneth?
