Poll: Battery problems anyone? Rant here!!!

You wouldn't believe what RAC Trackstar told me today when I complained about their unit draining my battery over 10 days .... "the problem is the Subaru not the tracker, as it only charges the battery when it gets over 6000 rpm"!!
I've never heard so much claptrap in my life.
Now searching the net for a solar charger that I can plug into the cigarette lighter when I leave the car for long periods. Something like this : http://www.superchips.org/car_solar_charger.html
Also been told I can get an intelligent trickle charger that only activates when the battery charge falls to critical levels (plugs into the mains and you dont have to disconnect the battery aparently) and just does enough to keep the battery from going dead. Think I've just found one ... http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_...&type=0&cat=28

2003 wrx. In last june, turn key, and died in my hands. Baterry was with water all normal. Try to charge battery with no sucess. It occured in my garage, imagine it on the road, after a lunch....eheh
Think of going to claim warranty and then i realised...I prefer to invest in a good battery than to replace this s***t with similar S***t and waiting for the same to happen again.
My opinion? buy a good batterry and trow the stock on for recicle! ASAP!
