Bob T,
Yes the Stratos belongs to Dave Hodkin.
I trust he's a friend of yours?

Well if it isn't the owner of the hardest driven Fiesta ever!!! Has the car recovered from the Le Mans trip yet Bob?

You ought to give this meet a go and get Dave & Hugh along, as MTR usually puts a first rate route together.

Cheers

MTR

Count me in.

I will have my new motor by then so the likelyhood will be that it is a 97 306 GTi-6.

However I will buy Clareys WRX if I can get a decent insurance quote so watch this space.

Clarey - Drop me a mail with your insurance suggestions for your car - if it is still for sale???

The Fiesta is fully rcovered and chomping at the bit. It's got new alloys and some new springs since Lemans so watch out!

Looking forward to the meet, Bob

Question

Bob T

You up for a convoy there??? I am coming from Barrowford so not far away. Dales and Buddy are from Burnley as well so we may be able to get a good convoy. I am currently trying to buy a new car which will probably be a 306 GTi so dont worry about the Fiesta Vs Scooby thing - they will thrash both of us

Dreamweaver, sounds good to me m8! Do you have to come into Colne to get to the M65? If so maybe we could meet at Prestons BMW or somewhere as I don't really know Barrowford.
Bob
PS I can take scoobys, no problem!

With a bit of luck I'll have bought my Scoob by then. If not I'll be in a blue Puma.

Please scrub the 306 GTi off the list - I went to look at one and wasn't keen so I will be coming in a Scooby after all. I should have bought one by then, but not sure which MY.

Charlie

It was yours that helped me with the decision. Very clean from what I saw of it through the snow and you had good reports of owning it so far, so why not.

You can have a look at NM5

A certain holiday company

Still work for them but at one of the sister companies (GP). Based in Woking until mid-march then Rochdale. Waiting to buy a Scoob until I am back up there.

I will arrange our convoy nearer the time.

Ill try to make it if i can and if im not working (my00 in sonic blue, anthracite PD7's)

Dream, u want a good gti-6??
If they still have it, try carcraft in sheffield, there should be a white one with the reg R150YVM, ok its white but its got full service history, low miles, peugeot warranty til nov 01, its been back in for the

recall!! (all pre 98's have been recalled for re routing of fuel lines) it was up for 10k, its also pushing 177bhp standard car except plugs which are ngk, (147bhp @wheels) you can but try, its one of the best ones your ever going to get your hands on too!! oh and the a/c has been serviced too (and im a none smoker!)
Run on mobil 1 from 9k miles (car is an ex demo)

Regards
Tony

Thanks for the tip-off Tony

However, I have seen the light and am going for the Scooby. You only live once so sod it. Disposable Income is not everything

To be honest I went to look at some 306 GTi's and didnt like them. Not much room behind the wheel, and have heard of bad reliability.

Hi DW,
i see what you mean lol!! Both of mine went back in for head gaskets but after that i had no problems with them, the sound they make is awsome, its more consitant and doesnt sound thrashy, but if you know anyone who does want one then its there, if i had the money id be back and buy it as a second car, they are a delight to drive, shame about the delight to park thou lol!
