I always thought he did, that's why he was always in such a rush?!

Perhaps he's in a vicious circle of scaring himself with his driving that he needs a S, then rushes even more to have a S and so it continues.....

Hmmm, now that is a very interesting theory, I've noticed on some of the trackday photo's Dave does look to be wearing something under his troosers, perhaps it's a nappy to allow him to stay on track for longer

Hmmm. It appears that my evening has been double booked, and I am therefore faced with the coice of;

A) Joining the WYIOC for the aforementioned mid-month drink and jaunt, whilst annoying the hell out of whichever poor bugger has drawn the short straw and has me sat alongside them, whilst at the same time falling into and ever more drunken stupor

or

B) Get me **** over to Post Hill in Pudsey (I'm sure Dave knows where I mean) for an evening's frantic climbing and descending on me new carbon beastie, whilst at the same time falling into and ever more physically nackered mess

Looks like it's gonna be option B, from a health point of view (unless I stack it and break every bone in my body, of course)

Have a good 'un

Gents, my apologies.. I also have to stack at this late stage....

Katrina's sister was taken seriously ill Monday and she's took a turn for the worse this afternoon... Needless to say Katrina and/or I will be out this evening to the hospital..

Second is that I've just got back from a day's tuition with Paul and after concentrating hard over 6 Hrs & 250 miles over North Yorks finest, I'm pretty much sha... knackered.. (I'll be posting the results soon after taking in the news from todays events..)

Again, my apologies for the late notice....

Al, no problem. Fully understand and best wishes

Sticky, yer bl00dy turncoat Doesn't need us now he's got his new mates

Cheesy, great offer I'll run it by those who are there when we get there but TBH I was gonna wimp out of any high speed stuff as I have been in a classroom all day and am knackered. Although, I may change my mind when I get there

Barry, don't follow me too closely as I occasionally have to dispose of the full ones

Dave

I'll have to see you at the month end meet to pass on the deposit for the track day, I couldn't make it last night because some t**t has put a window through at the nursery so I had to go fix it.

Hope it was a good run though

P!55ed off that I missed out again

BTW is it at FG on 25th

How was the charge, Dave?

It was tumbleweeld time at The Sov until Killa turned up about 8-35pm and the deal has been done

After he and his mate went at 9-30, it was Andy-no-mates so thought I'd better avail myself of the facilities and had a fine bit of rump (steak) as they serve until 10pm.

Trundled off home after 10pm...

Were there any fresh flowers down the Strines road as the lass behind the bar said there'd been a biker from Shelley killed last week after coming a cropper going that way?

Andy

PS Al hope Katrina's sister is OK / recovering - my Dad's in for his triple bypass next week so am trying to look on the positive side

Hi white scooby - I wouldn't mind joining up with the next one of these - any chance of dropping me the nod when it's gonna happen so I can tag along?

Big thanks to Squadron Leader CB yet again for leading the charge, even if the first part was more of a magical mystery tour again , twas excellent fun yet again

Shame on HB for not being man enough to be towed along on his bike by Dave's new wing though, bloody wimp

Right I'm off to price up some better brakes as I have confirmed after last nights little expedition that mine are pants

ps. Hope CG's **** isn't too badly damaged after her little adventure Dave, I'm sure you'll be more than happy to rub in some cream if it is

Bit of a poor showing last night, but good fun was had by those who could be bothered The run over Strines wasn't quite as frantic as I'd have liked but still enjoyable. What is it about when you get into South Yorkshire, never any signs

Al, hope things are going OK

Daz, hope you got it sorted and I spoke to my mate about your flyers. He's been away on holiday for 2 weeks and had lost the data So I've emailed it again and will check with him later that he's got it OK. Sorry for the delay.

Barry, I thought I heard a little screach down in one of the hollows The decat sounded well on the m-way I insisted the CG would NEED an injection but she was having none of it

Big thanks to Cheesy and the Chesterfield crew for the meet-up and run We didn't get much time to chat but we'll do it again soon. Getting darker, colder, probably wetter and much scarier from now on though

Sticky, how was Post Hill It's a bit scary when you're at the top looking down and trying to pluck up the courage I've been down it on a motorcross bike, but daren't on a pushbike

Anyone know how to repair carbon? My front splitter has seen better days now i've seen it in the light of day

Cheers
Simon

Too damned steep for me, and 19 of the other 20 who I was out with, one guy did it, and cleaned it, hats off to him (fooooooo'in nutter ) Poor sod was then faced with a ten minute wait at the bottom while the rest of us went the long (safe & fun) way down. Went past your old gaff, and v. close to the new one too. Didn't realise there was so much green stuff so close to Leeds

Didn't see any naked cyclists, though

Where did you finally stop for some juice on the way back or did you chicken out and go to the BP one?

Did you go the Wakefield way and was it any easier?

Haven't done that in a while

I've lived around that area since I was 13, so know all those woods like 't back er mi 'and. If you look on a map it's about 15x the area of Roundhay Park, and yet no-one much ever goes there, except a few horsey types, some joggers and the local smackheads I've often seen the area mentioned in mags and books as really good routes I like 'em cos there's 6-8 really good pubs all 'round the outskirts If I ever dig my old bike out you'll have to come over and we'll do a pub-ride
