5th August - Harewood Hill Climb
#65
Mellow,
If I have no scooby is there a seat in your P1 for me if I can crash a ride with ChrisB up to the meet point?
I could do with a scary ride to get me confidence up
Michelle.

I live Harlow Hill area and usually go out to Harewood through the back via Burn Bridge.
Could meet in the Black Swan car park in Burn Bridge as this is one the way.
If this is not convenient for you then Ripon Rd would be okay.
From the Black Swan Harewood would be about 7-8 mins depending on the traffic at Harewood House. So could meet there 8.40am?

Rum,
You are a star ~ its a long time since we've had sooooo many people interested. Fantastic.
As its been said I'm entered in my little Pug 205 GTi ~ just a wee bit modified
If everyone can pray for lots of sun that would be great ~ I'm not good in a 185bhp front drive motor
My Scoob will be there in a none competing capacity. However there will be a fantastically modified STi 5 taking part along with a seriously quick Sierra Cosworth 4*4 which is fantastic to watch.
Come down and see me, have a chin wag and convince me that I need to compete in the Scoob next season.
The Scoob gets its only outing at Harewood on Saturday 8th September.
Look forward to seeing y'all on Sunday.
Remember don't bring the rain with ya
and bring some money to buy coffee and bacon butties
Just checked the weather ~ DUH... BRING YOUR WATERPROOFS. Temp OK at 21C.
Cheers
Mark

Jaycee, Mush, could I join you? I live in Harrogate and want to go to Harewood as well. The only problem is I'm on call this weekend so I suppose if I'm not there by 8:40 you'll have to presume I got called out and will be sleeping it off

Michelle,
Since you are raising funds for Cancer research and my girlfriend has just lost her father to Cancer hows 'bout this.
On Sunday 5th August event :-
If I beat my brother (#745), my other brother (White Escort Mk1 # 46) and his mate who'se in the same car (but as # 746) I'll donate £50 to Cancer research... It will make the day interesting anyway.
If (he says checking entry list for class !) I win Class 2 which is road modified saloon under 2 litres I'll donate £100 to Cancer research.....
Its always VERY close between the 4 of us, the 2 in the Pug and the 2 in the 'scort so it should make for an interesting day.
Oh and just to let you know ~ once on the track I do try hard
Mark.

Hi guys/gals
I'm at Croft in the morning thrashing (that's thrashing, not crashing, unless it rains of course!) around in a single seater till lunchtime, then I hope to head over to Harewood for the pm racing. Maybe see you all there.
Cheers
Roger

Rum,
Stop this rain thing... NO RAIN... Rain is a bad, bad thing
The course is slippy enough as it is without any rain.
See you guys tomorrow when its gonna be hot, and sunny. (I can dream!).

Thanks Tom for putting me in touch with this BB. Will be there on Sunday and looking forward to meeting everybody. Have just got new P1 and want to seek advice on upgrades, particular in exhaust department. By the way have been up the old course at Harewood in a 1966 F2 Brabham in my slimmer days. Looking forward to a great day.

Last minute rise to the occasion (oo-er) but Dales and I will be coming along tomorrow.
We are setting off at 9-ish so should be there between 10-10:30.
Not sure if you will be able to save us a parking space or not but if not we will try and find you all - my mobile is 07970 194022 if anyone can ring us about 10:30 ish?
Looking forward to it
