Nope thats all ScoobyClinic used.. hmm... do I really want to get started on them? Ah, sure why not.

Mapper was 2 hrs late getting there (I left my house at 5:30am! but he didnt show till 11am)
Place is filthy
Out in the middle of nowhere
Bathrooms are disgusting.. No I mean worst I have ever seen in my life!
I wouldnt drink a soda in the filthy engine building room, let alone let them build me an engine in there!
They tried to double the agreed on price at the end of the day and I only drove out there (2 1/2hrs) because of the quoted price for a ECUtek remap.
Screwed my buddy Ali out of his LINK EM and Zerosports ECM for a 30 min half *** "chipped" stock ECM and still charged him like 200 pounds!

But... I really dont want to get into it about them 'cause alot of people love them for some reason.

BVM, looking at your spec below I would have expected similar output to mine and perhaps more with the FMIC I suspect your mapping needs looking at or there is something not connect etc? Who mapped it?

'02 USDM Subaru WRX, 5MT, Loaded, TurboXS FMIC, TurboXS short ram, Perrin turbo inlet pipe, Helix up-pipe, 3" turbo back exhaust, 17" UK wheels, Prodrive springs, Scanmaster 3, Autometer EGT and boost gauge, SBR GT10 turbo (GT30R) & STi RA gearset soon!

295.7hp 285ftlbs !!!!!!!!!!

Overboost to me is something regarding the overshoot of the target boost. In my case this is not the situation as my "hump" is intentional and is a mapped target for that rpm. It is certainly not surge as suggested by BVM (sorry BVM I edited your post instead of quoting it - apologies).

Obviously, I can not comment on the others.

Ok... I was hoping AndyF would take on my cars map so... I either move onto Apexi or stick with Link for the moment... I need help here...

I need a list of Link ECU mappers available to fly up to Edinburgh / within Scotland. Any takers? It will make my mind up re what I need to do for my ECU when I fit my FMIC etc...

Help!

Helix TBE
Helix up-pipe
HKS panel filter
Vishnu TMIC y-pipe

All the other stuff came way after that day.

Its all good. Overshooting the target boost pressure is easy and fairly common, just depends on how aggressive the WDC is, or how the gain is set on an EBC.

My old 2.0 litre engine from 18 months ago

Stunning setup for the 2.0l

MY00 UK 2.0 Wagon
MD304 Turbo 1.3bar boost
APS FMIC
Link ECU
550injectors
etc
etc

That car was stunningly quick on the road, and had run at that level for 18 months or so, and 30000 + miles. Scooby Shoot Out runner up with a 12.16 quarter mile pass in full trim.

Never go my EJ257 tested, but was in region of 400+ of each. New engine should be fun

V good torque figure Steven. Was that mapped for 1.3bar or is that what it hit on RR? Looks a later spooling turbo than a 16g?

Was the quickest UK engined scoob for quite a while too

Bob, it was mapped for 1.35 on the road. If i recall it peaked at 1.3 on the rollers, but late on.

On the road it would pull full boost in the early to mid 3000rpm range no problem. It was a very torquey set up.

Yup, it held it for quite a while, not bad considering its a wagon, it was fully trimmed and running 18's when it did it

One of the reasons I'm not a fan of RRs. Not always an indicator of the cars ability on the road.

Will hopefully be running the new box in on the weekend @ Pod. Hoping to break into 11s
