ITS A GIRL

7.00am this morning she popped out, yes thats a whole 98 hours.

Could not update the thread as she was admitted into hosp on Saturday evening but did not dialate any further for over 24 hours so we had to be induced, had the waters broken but after a further 6 hours nothing so then had epidural and hormone drip so 4 hours later she was 10cm but to knackered to push so the final few hours they used the sink plunger and pulled her out, all 7lbs10 of her and shes gorgeous and healty. Mums knackered so staying put for a few days to recover.

Going to bed now as have not slept for 4 days, not even had time to think of a name and was so confused I tried to order a sunday lunch only to be told its monday - totally lost track of time.

Congratulations DanTheMan

With a 12 week old son I know all the great times you have coming.

After only 12 weeks I have seen my son smile at me, stick his tongue out at me, grab my hand and many other things.

You can look forward to the feeling you get when your daughter looks at you and smiles, treasure it mate and enjoy it

Well done to the both of you!!

edited to add - while everyone is coming in and giving presents to your daughter, make sure you buy your wife a huge bouquet of flowers, it will mean a lot to her

Congratulations to you and your wife Dan.

This episode must have been more stressfull than coming to buy the STI Type R V-Ltd back in 2001. I see you have sold her and have since had a Monaro which I guess was a totally different animal. Hope she went to a good home. My wife & I are expecting our 1st in November this year, also a girl, and can't wait for her arrival. Even after reading the masses of information on the birth, I guess nothing completely prepares you for the main event and what may/may not happen.

Once again, Congratulations and best wishes to your family.

Once again many congratulations. Always nice when these stories end well.

Isn't she wonderful. A beautiful baby girl.

I so felt for your wife when I read your earlier posts. And your anguish too. That was an unbelievably long labour

Very, very happy for you both

Congratulations
