Using children to try and bolster your cause of "we're normal" is about as selfish as it gets and any respecting homosexual wouldn't attempt to have babies - it's cruel as they WILL have massive negative effects from this.
Just another example of how more and more f$cked up society is becoming.

The Big Man - all aspects of your post have been addressed in this thread, point by point. But it all boils down to what i just said in my previous post i think.

gay is not normal....not sure how anyone can argue it is anymore than say albino is normal?
as for asthma/diabetes: they are illnesses not "just the way i am". As an example, i have asthma and im 6ft6. I belive my asthma is an illness taht should be treated on the NHS - if someone said £50k and it will go i would pay in a second - i wish i didnt have it. Is being tall the same? no of course not - even though 6ft6 is not normal its just the way i am- i wouldnt expect NHS treatment to be shorter so i fit in cars!
Now do gay people wish they were straight? would they pay 50k to be "ungayed"?
its very different....gay is natural, abnormal and "just the way they are".......exactlly the same as me being 6ft6

If we were all gay then we'd cease as a race within 80 or so years. It's our natural make-up.
Homosexuality is aparent, always has been, in a way it is a fashionable thing to be, has interesting culture etc - however some things should simply not be permitted, that of forcing this onto a new baby. It's selfishness opitimized FFS!!

Reality check - we don't live in an ideal world.

Tel, not nessisarily down to generations. I like to think Im still young (25) and in a very understanding and accepting society. I accept everything that is I just dont believe in gay couples having a child of their own.... and if they do I think it should be through fostering. Being gay does not give you a right to bear a child. although if you want to raise 1 why not try 1 of the many unloved ones that are in a home?
I think its a very fair middle ground, if there is 1.

People are how they are, I've no problems with that as it's their right. However, forcing that "right" onto somebody else (a baby) is intrinsing on THEIR rights.
In life one must accept that based on how they are affects the things they can/can not do or have.

I understand perfectly that a woman can not conceive a baby with another woman in the same way that she could conceive a baby with a man. I just think if her maternal instincts make her desperate for a baby (& believe me, to go through all the prodding, poking, injections etc, you'd need to be desperate) she should be given the chance of IVF.

I was going from memory but that is the principle.
the fact is in the coming years (genetics) what people consider 'normal' etc will be blown clean out of the water!

Thats just wrong. Think these scientists should stop their fettling now. give it another 100 years we'll be living in a world like they do in Total Recall.... Long term effects on our society could be damaged IMO

Not sure about Dykes not being able to produce Boys - they could wipe us out. Let's hope they don't find a way of making spare wheels that can change themselves - it's our only hope for survival
