I'm assuming that there will be some sort of convoy to the venue like last time, so where are we meeting to set off from?
..........Ooops I forgot a smilie......................There we go.

We're up to 22 cars confirmed with deposits paid, and another 7 signed up who haven't confirmed. That leaves 8 places available to anybody whom steps forward with a deposit.
Up to date list HERE.
**** I will be away from my PC (well, Mac really) from Sunday upto friday night before the big day ! Alan C will look after things in my absence, and call me if required. Looking forward to a great day ****
PS. Al, can you bring the BBQ's along with the gayzebo etc

I would think the Corsa would be okay
...and a helmet is a must. Don't worry too much if you don't own one, as the site supply their own.

Anyone wanting to come needs to get their deposits in quick, as there are currently 29 places out of 30 filled, but 6 have not paid the deposit. Anyone coming forward with a deposit secures their place. But then again, we wouldn't turn anyone away on the day
Corsa and Focus RS are welcome
As Andy says, helmets must be worn by anyone in a car on the track, driver or passenger. Rallydrive have a selection of sweaty old openfaced buckets, but if you have you're own then please bring it.

It's like being back at school again all these checks.
Are the brake pads on scoobs easy to change if you got half an idea about what your doing
Nos octane boost available from halfords for around £10 increases RON by up to 3 points, 1 bottle does 60 litres of fuel and it works ..... I've tested it out (using Optimax) and it makes the acceleration feel more potent.
Does the tape on the lights make it any faster?

I'll be away from my 'puter until friday, so I hope everyone is OK with the arrangements. All the details of meeting points, convoys and timing is in the 1st post and if in any doubt speak to Alan C .
In brief, 7.30am meet at Ferrybridge Services for run down to the venue and an 8.30 arrival for anyone going there directly. We'll do a quick briefing to clarify safety and sort final payment and hope to have everyone on track by 9am-ish. At the mo' there are 29 people, with 23 of them confirmed by deposit payment. If all those turn up then it will be just another £5 each to pay on the day.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and having loads of fun. I'm off to the Lakes on mi jollies for mi birthday, so see ya there
PS. Remember your sausages and burgers
PPS. Thanks to Al for babysitting ( again) the thread. Ring me if anything goes awry

Dave asked me to take care of that too.
I've booked some damp weather for the first session, with some patchy light drizzle keeping things moist until 11. Winds will be light, variable ranging from 1-6 knots, North Westerly.. Nice and fresh for the turbos..
Then I've got some Sun coming at 11:15 with a dry track from 11:45. Winds will stop and we'll have a small heatwave for a few hours over lunch..
This is also to ensure we can light the barbie and don't have wet seeded buns
Winds will pickup and the temperature will slowly drop for the afternoon making things interesting then then at 4 when only the hardcore remain, it's going to pi55 down.
Hope this meets with general satisfaction?
