The W800i will be available free soon if not already. You get better headphones so that would be worth a few quid. The 512Mb card is worth about £30 so it's really down to which phone you like the look/feel of. I'd go for the W800i as it will probably fetch a bit more come re-sale time. I'd push for getting it for free though.

Just to confirm, what is the memory spec of the W800i ?
The K750i has 32MB internal memory and normally comes with a 64MB memory duo card, although it's reportedly compatible with at least a 2GB memory duo card.
Does the W800i have 512MB Internal memory? That is quite good, but I find tranferring files to the internal memory on the K750i a lot slower that transferring to the 64MB external card. Can the W800i firmware be applied to the K750i? Is there any point?!

The 750i and 800i are eaxctly the same phones hardware wise. Both 32 meg internal memory, and can take upto 2gig mem stick duo cards. You could indeed apply the 800 firmware to the 750. The 800 is more geared towards playing music and the 750 towards taking pics so the buttons/interface/firmware reflects this...

Cheers for that. Just need to find somewhere that sells 1GB mem cards for under £50. Most on ebay seem to be £50+, but might have to bite the bullet as can't wait any longer

Thanks for the recommomendation mate. I went with them and it appears the price has dropped a bit - I paid £54 delivered .
This was for A SAN Disk one though - not Sony: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8212485357
Don't tell me I've bought a wrong 'un!

I've had the W800i for 3 days.
So far so good.
Vodafone wanted £100 off me to upgrade but I told them to sod off.
Ended up on a new 18 month contract and number but got the phone for free.
(6months half price and on that pay for 3 mins price plan)
From what I can tell it is very much the same as the k750i.
The camera is a bit different... the lense cover doesn't slide like the 750i
It has a small switch you flick to uncover the lense.
I think the idea is to stop the camera sliding open as you get it out of your pocket.
It came with a 512 memory stick duo card and some internal memory.
The headphones are connected with an adaptor thing that goes in where you charge your battery. Then I think you could attatch any headphones into the jack.
The ones that came with it are fine though.
The sound was great to me.
So far I'm very happy with it.

Cath, tip for you (hope this doesn't sound condescending). To make the most of the space on the memory card encode your Mp3's specifically for use on your phone by ripping on converting them to 96 Kbps as for use through headphones the loss in quality will be barely noticeable if at all. It will make the file sizes smaller though.
This is a good tool for the job.
