That's so true as well. There are many size 64 helmets that don't fit me (can't get them over me bonce at all). OTOH, I have a size 60 Bieffe helmet that I used to use for trackdays, karting, etc. which fits fine.

Ah another who walks like a hunchback at karting do's I don't have the large head problem, but have struggled for years to find decent overalls that don't castrate me if I try and stand upright

LOL - That's the problem - I've two choices - secure them and castrate myself of leave them undone and look like a budda as I go round with my head hurting from the 5000lb/ft pressure on my heed from the lid

The biggest size they do (8+) fits me nicely but cost £45

I've got my own crash helmet for carting and the like.
25" too .

I've only ever come across 1 hat in a shop that fitted - XXL Drizabone.

I'd like to add belts to the trouser rant.

Over the last few years I've gone from a 32" to 34" to 36" waist (and one pair of 38" trousers which proves that sizes are crap). Now I've lost a little weight and some of my jeans and trousers hang off me a bit but they're still newish so obviously I need a belt to keep them up properly but most of my belts are old and size 34 so will only fasten on the last notch and only if I breathe in. so I ask the Mrs to get me a 38" belt (hopefully so there's a bit of slack). Gets home, puts it on and...it'll only fasten on the last notch and damn near cuts me in half! Grrr.

Even a 32" inside leg and standing 6' just scrapes in as being classed as a man. Anything below is a McStumpy.

That's why they invented ladders, so the McStumpys of the world could clean their downstairs windows.

What do you all expect when some Tiawanese orphan is stitching them together for $1 a month? Saville Row tailoring?

I'll have you know that the trousers in question (in my case) were made in Honduras and Vietnam... )
