as for the miles, I used it as a happy rave bus for me and my mates virtually every weekend I had it. Several hundred miles in one night was not uncommon.
Having said that, it did produce another record for personal driving bests, London to Southport and back again on one tank of fuel whilst 5 up and with a boot full of heavy luggage.
Laughed at any amount of mileage I threw at it, gobbled it up without complaint

they do the 177mph in 5th , 6th gear is purely overdrive won't accelerate over 177 i believe, although if the power was there i belive 6th is geared for 270mph LOL

Ive raced one last year on my hayabusa, a guy in Milton Keynes has one and does use the thing
I spotted it and dawdled down the A5 waiting for him to get past the traffic, he was giving it everything when he came past and we was doing over 150MPH in places
Very, very quick car and thumbs up all round as we went our different ways
Only 375BHP maybe but im guessing the aerodynamics must be good to reach 170+

Back in the very early 1990's I had a BBR chipped Fiat Croma Turbo (yes ok, I know) but with 250BHP and silly amounts of torque ( 3 gearboxes eaten) I used to hijack ferraris..
I'll never forget getting alongside a black Lotus Carlton on the A64 in a contraflow.. it backed the traffic up, waited.. and took off with a popping farting thunderous sound that is still unlike any V6 or V8 I have heard since..
