Injections are good but can cause loss of feeling in the short term - in the words of my doc "it can get worse before it gets better". I had my left hand injected a few days after the carpal tunnel op on my right hand. The left hand was hell coss I'd only been able to use that for a while so it flaired up. I forgot about the loss of feeling and movement though. So had one paralysed hand and one bandaged beyond belief.
Didn't half get some funny looks in Sainsburys buying bread with both wrists bandaged and both hands not working. Took ages to get sorted too. Scrabbling for change and such. Felt like Edward Scissorhands....

Ian, how long did the pain stay away for
i had to spend most of the evening with my jeans round my ankles cos i couldnt do them up
as the feeling was coming back last night it was the worst case of pins and needles you could imagine. today i have had a few electric shock type pains in my thumb, but only for a second.
i now have 4 needle marks on my wrist and i feel very brave
deffo wouldnt do it again though.
