I know someone that may be interested in this, do you supply heat wrap too??

If so can I have a price to pass on, otherwise, does anyone know how much it will be and where he can source it from??

Cheers,
Grant

Would the fitting of these headers and up-pipe require the car to be re-mapped after?

thanks

Mine arrived this morning,i had to pay £33 extra to the delivery man to cover customs, but even after all that these headers and helix flexi up-pipe stand me at £373 delivered to my door, just hope they give my car that extra few horses to break through the 400 bhp mark..currently 380 bhp on standard sti 5 tmic, going to have these headers wrapped, then fmic fitted and then get my motec ecu's remapped along with bigger injectors, and hope that does it???

Cheers gruppe-s

RB5Caterham - Check your PM's

RS Grant - Sorry we don't offer heat wrap with the manifolds... you should be able to source some from a race supply shop.

EddScott - Generally speaking a remap isn't necessary with the addition of the headers and uppipe unless the current map is tuned extremely agressively. A retune wouldn't hurt of course and would make the most of the additions.

beanybens - I think you'll be satisfied

Thanks

Max

cheers matt,

i'm tempted to go for these , i've just had a set of Megans split on me, right where the 4 pipes go into 1, so not weldable ( well not easily anyway ! )

they weren't ebay specials either, bought from a uk company who are now not answering phone / e mails etc

I was wary of the megans especially with fitting issues mentioned by several people on here, this set of gruppe-s v2 headers are considered to be of excellent quality and fit by others on here, think there was some issues with their v1 headers

Please can someone post a picture of the current Gruppe-S headers, I have a customer who's just had some, and his look like the original V1 type.

It looks like they may have gone back to thier original supplier

He bought them from Gruppe-S, and just had them delivered. I need to know if he's just been unlucky, or if they have changed back, because the V1 design doesn't fit with my FMIC kit, and the V2 fits well. Maybe we have a V3 now

Mine are currently away being wrapped at the brother in laws, how would i be able to tell if they are the v1 headers?
Was sold on the pretence of being v2 headers so would be interested to find out especially as i am going to fit a fmic very shortly as well

R19KET - We have not gone back to the V1 design (we haven't sold any of those for ~2 years now). The most current model (which is what we've been selling for the past few months) have slightly shorter runners than the V2 design for better performance. We haven't come across any fitment issues with the current designed comapred to the V2.

IPALMER - PMed you back

Thanks

Max,

I'm sorry, but the product you are currently shipping, is nigh on identical to the V1, and certainly has "LONGER" runners than the V2, NOT shorter.

I'm not suggesting the product isn't good, I haven't tried the latest version. I asked the question because the V2 headers "fit" with a product "I" sell, and the "V1 don't".

A customer has just received your current version, and they are the same dimentions as the V1.

I need to know what the changes are, so I can let people know what will, and what won't fit with my products !.

These, like the V1, don't fit.

R19KET - To be more precise, the "straighter" runners are a bit shorter than the V2 and the "bent" runners are a bit longer

As far as the exact changes, besides the changes to the runners we've already mentioned, there isn't anything else that would effect fitment. Your customer's unit show you exactly how all our manifolds are made now.

Thanks

Max

Whilst removing my old headers and up-pipe i have noticed they don't have any lambada sensor's or any sensors of any kind that have been blocked off or bunged up....These headers and the up-pipe have got a hole for a sensor each...Any ideas
I presume they just want blanking off.but what with and where would i get the bungs to do the job???
Cheers Matt
