Good idea, bad in practice, basically because your getting rid of the shell which has less flex than the classic car, hence the reason you cant get a classic anywhere near as good as a newage in stiffness unless you weld the lot up, defeats the object really.
Get every brace and bushing in the book and thank yourself for having a nicer looking car and having done the equivalent of leaving an extra $200-300 lbs in the driveway!

Classic shape rules, I concur.

Ahem cant believe no mention of the RB5, ok not as fast as P1s but WR model was and is great. Prodrive built a really good model that looked so subtle yet aggressive. Different from UK models as also had a fixed rear seat for extra strength. Not a lot of people know that!

RB5, yes, very nice. But just get a jap WRX and do the suspension......

I've had 7 classics and just picked up an MY03 STiUK PPP... sensible nutters car. I miss the classic for rawness (although ive still got it), but the new age is very nice...im just about to hit 40, and I think the new car suits me (and the family) more. so smooth, handles sublimely (prodrive ands whiteline suspension mods) You can feel the extra weight, but damn does it feel solid.
Looks, classic.
