Back O/T Im sure a minority of the people involved are either forced into it or are supporting a dependancy. But I would guess that the other majority are doing a job to help pay for their kids upbringing? Or to pay their tuition fees. Im sure the money can be good if you are prepared to work 20-40 hours a week. But its a high risk profession. You have no real idea whose about to walk through the door. You dont know his sexual health and you know that you will be expected to have sex with him regardless of what he looks like. Or how he is personally. Though, I would imagine that there are security minders elsewhere within the flats so if a client gets abusive they can deal with it.

From my point of view. Prostitutes are acceptable. Im basing that on the assumption that neither person is in a relationship though. The client goes knowing what hes going to get. The girl knows what shes expected to do. And at the end of the session everyone walks away. Im sure some people get fixated with some of the ladies. And that can spell future trouble. Both financial and emotionally.

And on the emotional level. It must be hard if you are used to paying for sex to go back and have a normal loving relationship with a girl that doesnt involve sex on the first date.

I went to Amsterdam with a mate a few years ago on a smoking connoisseur weekend.

I lived in Holland, I would'nt personally sleep with a prostitute because she'd probably eat me alive! Only Joking I prefer the personal touch, however in Holland due to prostitution being carried out at licenced brothels with protection for the women i do agree with the legalisation of prostitution.

The other important fact was that their violent crime and rape figures are significantly lower over there because people can get thier kicks, legallly and saftely.

I have no issues with prostitution, although I've never used one, and don't think I ever would.
I believe that as long as the women involved are not being forced into that lifestyle, and are old enough to understand what they are doing then there shouldn't be a problem.
