I am reticent to get caught up in too much banning. That's Labour's thing.

Speed Up Britain are the bright young party of the UK, we think around problems rather than banning them.

All scooters and disability vehicles should be modified so they are capable of attaining the minimum speed limit! They will also be fitted with ISA to make sure they don't fall below it!

I don't think cyclists should be allowed on the road.

They don't have insurance so who pays for the scratch when they squeeze past then bugger off?

Mandatory fitting of NOS to all shopmobility chariots, not only will they all be able to achieve minimum speed but it will create jobs and help further technology in the propulsion industry!

We need an arms policy. There are plenty un-annexed mineral rich countries left who's resources we can plunder, thus reducing the price of petrol.

Could sneakily pretend to befriend Bush and just take over Texas! The national guard are busy in Missisippi, the troops are in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Could be a window of oppourtunity, and besides it would pi** him right off.

We'll get that bloke from "Start Your Own Country" to lend a hand.

Start with Speed Saves everone will agree and hail thier new leader, then once you have power then you can turn to the darkside, and pi** people off.

New Labour did it, learn from history!

Then change to SS and invade Texas, then you could work up through America. (if its worth it!) or go south through Mexico and get lashed on tequilla, heading for Brazil where you can then seize all the cocaine, legalise it and use the revenue to drop fuel prices, fit minimum speed limiting devices and make up for the revenue lost in speeding fines.

Also I hope you don't forget tractors, combine harvesters (in fact all agricultural machinery) in your Term 2 policies.

In fact maybe they are such a serious problem they should be a term 1 policy.

First Term (these are the less controversial ones)

1) Removal of uneccessary traffic lights
2) Removal of bus lanes
3) Removal of single occupancy lanes
4) Additional parking places
5) Design roads for speed, higher friction surfaces, banked turns
6) Remove hedges, fences, high grass etc designed to impede visibility at junctions to force you to stop
7) Removal of cycle lines at the traffic lights. Cycles must keep their place in the queue so cars don't have to re-overtake
8) Increase speed limits appropriately
9) Introduce minimum speed limits and minimum speed cameras
10) Operating hours for caravans and trucks
11) No more scamera vans
12) No speed cameras on safe and fast roads
13) Tax and insurance on bicycles

Second Term Policies (more controversial ones we will put in place once people have been conditioned to accept them)

1) Ban women drivers (there goes 50% of the vote, but its too late the suckers voted us back in! )
2) Ban cycles
3) Ban caravans
4) Introduce intelligent speed adaption that increases cars speed to minimum speed limit.
5) Intelligent lane selection. Force slow cars to pull over to let faster cars through.

Any more?
What, no mention of cats? (Known in US budget negotiations as "pork-barrelling")

FAO Deputy Leader AJM.

Policy needs updating. Stop. Further developments re: military operation to liberate the Americas. Stop. Must consider further amendments to policy including the use of cats to sustain the offensive. Stop.

At last - we get to ajm's real agenda

New ajm - New Threat !

[QUOTE=Reality]At last - we get to ajm's real agenda

World Domination!

By taxing the countrys we invade up to the hilt, we can cut tax here, we could become a tax free haven.

No tax on booze and ciggies would partially solve the pensions problem, and relieve the NHS as people would die younger if they drank and smoked more!

We would'nt live as long but have a better time whilst we were still living.

Not only that if we made every other country use crappy electric cars, our emmisions wont matter!

MOT failures could be commisioned for having your catalytic converter in place. No need for lambda sensors either!

I'm just waiting for MI5 to knock at the door now!

Going on the content of the fuel protest thread most people here can't afford to speed or are unwilling to fund the cost of their need for high velocity. Shame.
