Apologies folks but I won't be able to make tonight.
I know I've been a bit invisible but it's manic with work (year-end tomorrow) and Helen starting her own business venture as well.
I also better admit now that I'm away for the first 3 weeks of October and will miss next month's meet since I'm off on the Thurs (27th) as a VIP of Subaru at WRC Spain
I will do everything possible to make the next meet after that (mid-monther or month end) since I will be unveiling the return of my Scoob (after it's 6 month visit to the dark side).
It's finished as far as the build goes and due for final mapping on a Rolling Road whilst I'm away so will post the figures up when I get back....

Wasn't too clever up the road either.. good run back though.. even if the rain slowed us down and some of the headlights coming the other way did make one or two bends a little interesting...
Seeing that I missed last months.. it was good to see you all again..
Looking forward to saturday now!!

Andy.. The Police are holding off pending enquiries... Anyway, the person in question has paid me more than the food was worth to keep quiet...
What was the price of two chicken and a Mixed grill again? No point asking said person, as they're not going to know..
PS.. I'll be putting Ian's name forward to offer counseling and guidance

Hope you're not moaning about being given a C-Max as a courtesy car!!!!
**** me, I'd chop the STi in for onne tomorrow (apparently they don't understeer as much as the Scoob )
What's this? We've had another 'non-paying' runner?
Well, if it were me I'd be using the defence that;
1) I was distracted by the witty banter, especially the search for a 'Track-tag Idol'
and
2) I only ate half of my mixed grill, as a late arrival tucked into the other half, even insisting that I leave my family table and join him on the 'table of isolation' just so he didn't have to reach as far. My cunning plan to prevent chip theft by hiding most of them beneath a rather succulent looking onino ring was thwarted whan said onion ring was consumed, thus exposing a tiny mountain of chips, which soon disappeared down the gullet of said late arrival
Perhaps we should have a slush fund to cover any future incidents?

98.275% of the mixed grill was consumed by a former Evo owner.
The balance (one chip) was offered to me. I accepted that offer.
My lateness was a function of being on my bike in the dark. Such was my dedication to the club that I rode to the FG and parked said two-wheeled device in an inaccessible and inconspiuous location.
Said former Evo owner's cunning plan comprised an invitation to sit at what rapidly became the evening's busiest table, augmented by an offer (apparently since revoked...) to scoff all his bloody chips...
