How much did he pay you for it?

He has added the interior and the sound system, me and a mate used to race it up and down the country. I owned a 320bhp Lancia Delta and the Golf kept up with that without many problems. Extremely well prepared track car. Sold it about 8-9 months ago i think, racing buckets, no interior etc etc, for just under £7k (he turned up and gave me £5k and said ti was £7k.....idiot). Might sound steep, but it has to be driven to realise the quality. He is right about the panels etc, and has won shows everywhere.

After we had finished it, i got offered £9k cash at a Golf GTI show, but didnt want to sell it at that point. £4.5k is a steal but it may be damaged...
