"French Champagne" - that's the one that gets me! It can't be bloody champagne unless it's French! Oh - and the habit of always saying the place name followed by the location: London, England. Rome, Italy etc Grrrrrr
And look on the brightside - we gave them the whole of the language to start with - if they want to tinker around with a few words, then why not?

Another one I've just remembered, that the American wannabe Steve Wright does a lot, is pronouncing the date. As far as I can recall the date should be spoken as "The twenty-second of September, two thousand and five." The way the Americans say it; "September twenny-two, two thousand five", really grates on me
