lol.. gotta agree, how can people moan at somebody at very least trying to sing rather than talk over a beat and call it a rap much more cr@p spouted over the radio than James Blunt

Apparently it was written about an ex-girlfriend that he say on the train.

While being in the minority, I quite like the sound of him (different anyway), but I have to agree, you don't want to listen to this while sitting in a car at Beachy Head - the pull from the sea would be massive. Any wannabe suicides - give this one a miss....

You don't want to be listening to it when you're have some friends round and are having a laugh. Even the wife agreed it had to go after the 6th song that sounded exactly like the preceding 5 .

Critical Review for SiPie.

lol

For my sins, I have the misfortune of singing and playing in an acoustic duo and to keep things 'current' we cover the very song in question (quite well I may add )

His voice may not be to everyone's liking but he's certainly hard to FECKIN copy ..... note completely unnecessary use of swear word for sole purpose of effect

PS 'Beautiful' gets as good as a reception as Love me like you by the Magic numbers .... (current pub favourite) .... along with Under the Bridge (RHCP's) and Good Riddance (Greenday)'........ still

...so yet again the ever knowledgable musical critics on Scoobynet seem to once again be in the minority

But you probably don't sound like Gargling Aled when you sing it . Probably more like a cross between Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger is my guess

Besides - a load of girlies going gooey cos you sing to them they're beautiful doesn't make it a good song - just proves that girlies are tw@ts .

Next you'll be telling me that pish from Wet Wet Wet that was number 1 for 3 years was a good song

OK, I`ve reset the password and am back as myself.

By the way, the wife has the Blunt CD and it`s OK, better than the usual tripe she plays in her car anyway!

remind me not to get back in your wife's car again .

As stated before - it's good that we all have different tastes - keeps the world interesting .

He didn't swear live when I saw him....he actually looked embarassed about that bit and stepped back from the mic. Maybe he has second thoughts about the lyric now.

Wink Kate Bush~ New Single/Album

Has anyone heard the new single? It was played on R2 yesterday and on first listening sounds quite good. I think it's going to take a few listens to make up my mind but she sounds good for 12 years down the line.

Got Kanye Wests and Jack Johnsons album last night....

unsure about both, Kanyes is pants apart from the singles hes released, the rest is just an early days TuPac rip off. BIN!!!!

Jack Johnsons has a few good tracks but the others seem a bit dull to be honest. Dont think I'll be listening too that much either.

hmm, what to get next? lost now because I really thought Jack Johnsons album would keep me going for a bit but had to revert to listening to the killers this morning in the car

Huge mistake.......

The other songs will grow on you....

Brushfire Fairytales is a far better album by Jack.... but if it ain't your thing, then each to their own....

Agree - or classics life Half Man Half Biscuit... legendary songs.

Time flies by when you're a driver of a train.
Coming back from Trumpton with a cargo of cocaine
Under bridges, over bridges, to our destination
Be careful with the spliff Euguene, it causes condensation!
