Fatman - I take it as a compliment with a car like yours, you wanting something off mine

Dan - you will now have a constant reminder how your car looks when it's clean, your have to change the log book back to Blue now

Listening to Dan's 5Zigen was hard as it reminds me of mine which I have'nt heard for near two months

Call them m8 they are all custom made. Mines different because MAF sensor was so long the other one they do feeds the air filter straight through the side of the box.

Firstly Danny Boy's Turbo

Yes it's in need of a clean but that's for another day

After stripping the front down we had to get the Gazebo up quickly as the rain came down

Then the front was stripped down ready for work to start

As Daz took a break the FMIC was offered up so we could see exactly what was needed to be modified in order to fit the pipework

Hmmm there is a bracket in the way

That's better

Some of the pipework was just offered up to give us a better idea of the space we had to work within..... not a lot I'll add

We were all impressed with the quality of the mount as you can see it's a snug fit

To Be Continued............

i didnt sleep all day just after the bacon sandwich, and before lunch,a very enjoyable day loved every minute of it,i would love to do another to see how much faster we could do it.with common sence and a little bit of help from your freinds we got there.bit of greif from the misses though for being there for most of the day but f*** her i loved it and i would do it every sunday it was a pleasure.good photos si but i dont think you got my best side.

Just got to get this Lotus thing out of my system and i may be tempted.
I've just got back from a Lotus meet and have viewed much eye candy Much of my enjoyment of the Scoob is in it's ability to overtake at will - i'm not sure an Elise can quench this thirst so a front mount might be the thing for me - says the man who has just fitted an STi 6 top mount

Fatman - It's tempting, but I don't think I could betray the old girl.

Dan - it's from Revolution mate, I think they have it described as a P1 splitter

Brun - I got no probs doing another, I enjoyed it.

When you see the bumper before and after it's incredible how much you actually cut away

It's not suprising I get burnt when I go out in the sun..... I never realised I was bald.... I figured it was just a wide parting

Don't get me started on the oil catch tank, I've looked at hundreds of threads and still can't find a decent fitting guide!!!!!!!

The turbo and remap are all down to Simb's time frame, As I'm having his old turbo, He needs to run his car in first and then he's changing the turbo, injectors etc. Should be sorted in a couple of months

big end went, so he's having a 2.5 with forged pistons etc he's also going to stick on a Hybrid FMIC, Bigger turbo (I'm having his old one), bigger injectors etc once it is run in. should be a monster on the pod next year. But even I should be able to beat his time from this year!!!!!!

Dan, spoke to David at Api today and should all be ready Friday or Saturday next week. So it's just clocking up the miles and then stage 2 can be completed, so should'nt be long before you get your hands on my VF28.

What size injectors are in yours as there will be 440's comming out of mine?

Ah milestone 3000th post

No worries Si, I don't mind waiting. I'm due a tax rebate in the next 2-4 weeks, thats if the B4stards ever get it sorted out, If you owe them money, they are on you like a pack of dogs. But when they owe you £1700 they move very very very slowly!!!!! should pay for a holiday and some toys for the car!!!!!!!

I'm 99% sure mine has already got 440's but I'l have to ask someone on here to confirm.

With regards to collecting your car next friday or saturady, We're off to santa pod on the saturday!!!!!!!!! We could always pick it up on the way up???

DannyBoy - unless you have given your car a serious facelift you have a MY99/00 in which case it does indeed have 440's
Is the FMIC you have fitted one of them off ebay? If so - does it have the polished mild steel pipes Harvey has mentioned in another thread which will eventually rust?

A quote from Hybrid "Full alloy chrome aluminum pipes", definately not mild steel as their light as a feather
