I beg to differ...if you been round some of the pubs/clubs round by me...think of a landfill dump, but swap the seagulls for people

Then there is the problem that if you do pull, its so noisy in there that you don't realise until the next morning that she has the most nasal voice ever imaginable and laughs like a horse. And is as captivating to talk to as a lampost.

Ok, I admit I do use and have used sites with varying successs. I dont mean those that you pay a fortune for. Most of it all starts out as chatting and I have met a few nice ones and been inundated with munters.

The munters were usually council estate dwellers who dont know of the word work, with several exceptionally badly behaved children called "Char" or "TJ" and want more, just looking for someone to fit the bill.

Not only that but they look like they have fallen out of several ugly tress smacking every single sodding branch, twig and leaf on the way down.

I have also flown half way round the worldto meet someone. Ah them were the days when IT contracting was very well paid.

Also met several people all over Europe and had the best time of my life.

Would I change any of it? Not a chance. I have been to places most people never see, done things that most normal people wouldnt (aka Telboy style )and met some very interesting and important people. I even have some close personal friends who run run brothels, Pro Dommes and normal people as well as exploring new cities. being invited to place joe public doesnt even know exists.

The key to making it work, is to be honest (like i tell them all about my outside activities quite promptly so if they dont like it, neither of us waste our time), be careful, and make sure you have an exit plan if it goes titsup

Well, it has been answered entirely by internet forum users.

If its a rung on the ladder to a bunk up, who gives a monkeys trumpet how you meet fanny.
I'm sure theres plenty of shy birds out there who are less than receptive to being chatted up in a bar or club, bring them out of themselves so you can get into them!
I think i've talked myself into it, where do i sign up

Question

So we have no admissions of using online dating agencies from the female members of SN!

So do the women think it is sad?

I'm a girl and I don't think it's sad at all! If you were serious about finding a date on line then I'd also suggest joining on line forums for subjects that interest you - Scoobynet for instance!

Did I mention that's where I found my hubby.....? And I'm not sad at all! (A little wierd maybe - but definitely not sad!)

A couple of my female friends have met their partners through the internet. One is now married to him, the other is engaged to be married next year. I dont think its any different to pulling in a club/pub.....although thinking about it, you can test drive them first without them knowing your life story . Me personally would be dubious, as there are some really sad people out there

I have no idea of this on line dating.Just doesnt appeal me.Seems to be one of the things like people do back home in arranged marriages that I never agreed with either.
I cant say it is not normal as,it is a resort for some. But thats just aint appealing to me.On line dating can be far more risky and dubious as,people can give incorrect info about themselves and pictures etc can be very deceptive too.
IMO.
