scooby-doo, your a homo.
the guy clearly stated his spec r is loud and he tries his best to crawl into the cul-de-sac to keep the noise down and not wake up the neighbours.
as for you you smoker....you shouldnt be sleeping at 11pm anyway. whats the hardship in getting woken up for 1minute 20 seconds as a turbo timer cools down.

Now now boys, play nicely. The exhaust on our scoob is really loud but I show my neighbours respect by driving into the cul-de-sac very slowly to try to keep the noise to a minimum. Havent had any complaints about it as yet. But then I dont complain when next door but one plays Dolly Parton at full belt for a couple of hours in the afternoon. And my exhuast has never woken my kids up. Even when hubby gets in at 5am and it has never woke me up either.

I try to be considerate when driving into my street, so as not to annoy anyone. What really annoys me though is when I'm nightshift and trying to sleep during the day, and theres screaming kids in the street or somebody is cutting their grass. Inconsiderate b's.
That's it I'm coming into the street at full pelt tonight after my backshift, get it up you.

At the end of the day, even car with a very loud exhaust will create few problems even if driven at unsociable hours AS LONG as it's being courteously driven. A car pelting past a full chat even on a std exhaust....or those bloomin scooters that seem to be popular with 18 year olds at the mo will wake up up in a second though. I have neighbours that work early shifts, have a bedroom located adjacent to our drive. I have a H&S exhaust, yet we get along fine -they even like the sound of the scooby! Why? Well, basically, I'm considerate. I don't put my foot down in residential areas anyway, and if I have to come home/leave in during unsociable hours, I dip the headlights and just enter/leave the road at tickover till.
Its like anything else, if you show respect for other people's situations, there's unlikely to be a problem.

So in summary it comes down to some people have consideration for their neighbours and leave in a highish gear as to not annoy the neighbours, and others like mine neighbours have absolutely no consideration on the amount of noise that their kids make with their screaming and yelling at them at all hours, yet comment that my car is loud (its centre decat (but kept resonator) and Scoobysport) ~ PPP kind of noise levels.
As I'm hopefuly moving soon, the next Scoobymeet at my house just to really annoy them, Full decat and Ninja systems very welcome !

P.S Where is TTS sounds like a hire shop?

Hmm some interesting points. As I stated, and others do too, i try my best to keep it very low revs, usually come home in 2nd with no gas, and i stop a couple of roads away in a cuthrough street with no houses to let it cool down first so i can switch off as soon as im back. I also dip the lights. Theres one other guy with a big bore peco or something that bombs down the road at all hours and it sounds utterly pants. Who knows if people are annoyed with him or not, but i spend as little time in the road with the engine running as poss, so yes im considerate.
Saying that i have a neighbour whos happy to play loud crap music on a sunday afternoon in the garden, when hes not even sitting out there
That annoys me because its not considerate.

Iv got the bung in at the moment just to potter about as im in and out late usually. It makes a massive difference but the blitz decat without the bung just roars.
