Blinkin' 'ell - is this a revolt against order of maps.
Could one of the clan with access to the SNAFU site start a vote for AF/EF tonight, so we can at least make sure the others want to play it tonight.
I'll poll the guys at work (we don't have access).

I'll start the poll when I get home - I'd do it from here, but alas, SNAFU is now a "security threat" at my pace of work, hence it being banned...

I was only kidding mate personally I'd prefer to play AF, not just for the novelty factor but I think the maps are generally better... but as I say - the comments above are firmly tongue in cheek

It can be very variable. Try 50klicks.com if there are no SNAFU members/games on, they're usually well populated and enforce decent rules with good admins. Obviously not as good as the SNAFU server, but sometimes you have to compromise yourself...

We are potentially playing Armored Fury & Euro Forces xpaks tonight (again available via downloader.ea.com @ 5.99 each (3 maps per pak)).

Paul - this won't be the normal, we are currently reviewing which map rotations / add-ons packs we play on a given night.
Based on current 'clan' votes on our site, looks like from next week:
Tuesday - BF2
Thursday - BF2 Special Forces
Sunday - BF2 Armored Fury, Euro Forces and maybe a couple of BF2 original maps.
However, as quite a few seem keen to try out the new maps, as a one off we may well be playing the AF / EF xpaks tonight. They're 5.99 each, so cost you the equiv of four pints or 2 packets of cigs
If you do buy them from EA downloader, use the (BT)Click & Buy payment method AFTER you have selected 'UK' region (top right on the www page).
Any questions about ea downloader - let us know here

I'm really suprised that it's not banned by my work because most things gaming wise are. It's only a matter of time I reckon

I'll check the SNAFU site tonight - we're recruiting btw chaps but you need to voice interest on our site.
Anyhowz - Paul, to be honest doesn't matter if you are good or not, AF/EF would be a good buy - they're smaller maps and you'll find it more involved while you're learning the ropes... go on..... you know you want to!

Hopefully Blunderbus will be about so's I can keep his topgun @rse on the ground.. in rubble..
Again, provided no support calls to interrupt the game.
