Ok - one last go:

I have clicked on the first link - then clicked on

1- specc759.asf.torrent - downloads a 9kb file that isn't recognised
2- Azureus magnet link - "safari cannot open"
3- BitLord (?) - "safari cannot open"
4- Click here to download the UseNeXT client. - some down loading software ? < is it this that i need - and have to sign up ??

P.S I have Windows media, quicktime and that VLC.

you need to install a bittorrent client - i recommend bitcomet from here.

Its the bittorrent software that uses the file posted at the start of this thread

Andy, I'm uploading for you now. Will post a link for you soon.

Azureus is a client that will work on MACs, so try downloading it and installing. It is perfectly capable of handling the .torrent file that you downloaded.

Will post my link soon

We mostly have Mac's here, but we are in the design industry and 99% of those associated to this industry are on Mac's and the relevant software for this business is best on Mac's. But not that many people will use them.

Still not uploaded. I have been interested in how good YouSendIt's service would be. Seems, that its not that great.

I am about to go for tea, so will leave it uploading until I come back.

Have a look into Azureus, if you do have no go pop onto MSN at some point and I will take you through it. You can get all sorts of stuff from there

Don't worry Andy, it's not that good. Just a high quality video of a Spec C being driven impeccably at brake neck speeds round the 'ring........ in record time.....rubbish really....

Red face

The Bit Comet software must be the slowest download I have ever done!!

I hope it is worth the wait!

1.9kb/s for 2.9mb

its not the software - its how many people make it available for upload - ive been uploading it to various people for 2 days now - so my ratio is over 7:1 now - should notice an improvement now - ive just shared it again to help out.

The trick with Bittorrents is to leave your client going after you have finished downloading - that way other people can benefit from your download - more sources, quicker downloads
