Tiny, have to add that I had some of the same issues as you did. Only 8 places and I had to pick a range of cars (being all EP3 thrash ment I had to pick a balance based on tuning styles and levels of tune). So I picked 4 N/A and 3 F/I.
Needless to say even before we went word got around and a few nasty comments were posted on other forums, the bottom line is you cannot keep everyone happy, and you cannot take everyone you want. All I could do was choose cars based on what I thought would gave a fair representation of the CTR and what you can achieve whether you spend £500 or £5000.
Aanyhoo you are discussing the wrong thing, I'd be more concerned at how a bunch of FWD Civics managed to net higher top speeds than you lot, also the 1/4's were very close (I'll ignore the 0-60 times as you guys cheat with 4wd ). I blame the low top speed numbers on the pink sweatshirts....Heck even I managed 152.8 mph and I drive like me mum.
Only joking btw, the feature looks great and I would gladly loose a kidney for a Spec C

Yes it was never going to be easy to just select the 8 Cars , Out of a possible 100+ That we have availiable for selection , But since the day @ Brunters i have been waiting for the ****e to hit the fan !!
Still that's life ..
Whilst @ Brunters i did enquire about hiring the circuit , This is very possible as well , Could even hire the guy's from Datron Technology to do the timing as well , This way we would be able to get 100 + Cars up the straight & Keeping everyone happy ...
Tiny...
As for the top speeds , We were only allowed to use 4 Gears , To give you boy's a chance

I suppose this puts the emphasis on me to step up to the plate and apologise for my actions.
Of course I am the first person to acknowledge that Darren and Karen have done a hell of a lot for the suburu scene in essex and indeed the country ... and I suppose like a business it is good to see something small grow into something much bigger and more organised with a large support base. I as well as most people who have been here from the start are entitled to have an opinion - and my mentioning that the ESC was getting 'clicky' was a personal opinion - however it may well have been clouded by recent personal events which have brought a distinct amount of anger to me.
As most of you know from my posts I had a member of the ESC call me (at work) and basically square up to me. Then as everyone who had read this thread will see another member let rip a very personal opinion of me, which I do not appreciate. These events helped get my back up which led to me letting my anger out. I have previousely promised Phil S that I would try and keep calm when people try to wind me up but unfortunately I could not in this instant because I feel that if any of you had been subjected to the two events I described above you would be equally as annoyed as I am.
I know that if I posted up or did that to any one of the members on here that I would be verbally shouted down by pretty much everyone and ousted from the collective. I only need to look at the comments made against me after saying the ESC was 'clicky' to know that if I had expressed such an opinion that was expressed about me earlier in this post about darren, karren, phil or anyone for that matter what the consequence would have been. However I don't see the same being done to the people that have done it to me. Why I ask? Perhaps the nature of me is such that people get an instant dislike to me? Either way I am who I am and over the three years I have been on the scene I don't feel I have made any enemies - other than the obvious.
Of course I apologise for any hurt or remorse I may have caused in this post. People may of thought it hollow earlier but I understand about selection procedure for the J-Tuner meet and have no hard feelings over it whatsoever. My only issue now and one that I will keep off of here is that I have been verbally berated on a very personal nature, and not a single person has stepped up and said it was out of order. The comments were misplaced and inaccurate and represented a hate. Something which, as a promise to Phil and Darren made earlier in the year, I will try not to rise to.
An apologetic Smurf.
