You'd get one for around £5k. Less of you were prepared to look at rougher examples (which would be fine given that you'd probably ditch things like seats etc anyway)

Absolutely stunning track car

Low roll centre, double wishbones all round, close ratio gearbox, rev happy nutter unburstable engine, very light, strutbraced front and rear (lower) as standard and that all so important limited slip diff

Even a phase 1 XSi can be had for not alot of cash and still great handling then you also have the S16 or the phase 2 XSi, all falling into the 2k category
