When is someone gonna do another WYIOC group buy. I missed the last one, and it seems everyone else in the WYIOC has got a life now, to the detrement of the club
On a more serious note. Given the success of the last trackday and the immense fun had by all, especially the ones who came along reluctantly , shall I set the wheels in motion for the next one in March/April

After some trepidation that the Merc garage would be a flop, it turned out all right. The SLR was fabulous, but for me, the Maybach actually starred as it dripped qulaity. Ugly bugger, but the paint job was astonishing and the interior was top top class. The boot lid opening & closing mechanism got some serious testing
Thanks to everyone who turned out... Dan & his Fiancee made an impressive first turn out in his gorgeous Supra (Dazza was gushing & dribbling all night )and two lads turned up from Liversege (sorry guys forgot your names) in their sport and were most welcome, even if their confidence was a little down You're welcome back anytime....
Big up to the Mickyjeff's for the distance travelled to get there... again.
A good evening....
Daz, I don't think we took any pics, but I'lll explain how young the cows must have been to get that Maybach leather that soft, later...
Cheers all. Keep an eye out fopt the Nov monthly thread and the Decemeber thread which is the Xmas doo & drive and Stick's very first drive out... driving.... for a long long time

A bit late to post last night, so good morning folks and may I start by saying thanks to Al for organising the Mercedes event. Nice nibbles, free grog some stunning (and some not so stunning - like the Smart forfour ) motors, 6 lane Scalectrix and even a magician A different, but enjoyable evening Especially the obvious highlight of the Maybach boot putting us all in Homer mode for 20 minutes
Also I have to thank Simon for the offer of my new suspension Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I will be speaking to the 'Clinic this morning, but even if they can't fit us in I will sort something. Even if it's me and my old man in my garden (only 5 bolts per corner after all ) and sorting the geo out later.
Finally said hello to Mickyjeff & Gill, and nice to welcome along ******* & Cheryl (sorry, I'm $h!t at names ) in the Supra.
Need to sort out a mid-monther so does anyone have any suggestions We are doing Strines/Ladybower in December to celebrate Sticky's return to sobriety I suggested the much overdue trip out to meet the Hull boys, but come on, don't be shy.
PS. I won't be at the next main meet as I'm on holiday again in sunny Devon

David . . will send you a pm re the AST's as I haven't got your number!
Any chance of the Strines / Ladybower run next week too . . . .could well be my last run in a scoob for a while!

cheers
