I haven't had a chance to get back on here to follow up my comments, i wasn't making wild accusations and then legging it in fear of comeback.
I'm not a uneducated racist, hating on people because of the colour of they're skin, frankly this is pure stupidity and narrowmindedness.

As pointed out by someone earlier, my comments are factually based. If you live near me or indeed the poor sod in bury park luton you will know why our views are so strong.
No if they're living there they should learn the language, it's courtesy really why should the true country folk try to decipher your foreign mumblings? Portugal isn't the place in question anyway.

Deep are you taking some of this personally? I take it from the name Singh that you are in fact Indian, is this correct?
My problem is not with Indian people, who on the whole i have found to be very honest hard working people.
Generally my problem is with people of pakistani and bangladeshi descent who have little respect or sense of moral standing (slightly sweeping i know, there are exceptions)

Oho..........you should live in Humberside Moose. In Hull, the Hull Daily Mail has an agreement with the cops NOT to print anything negative about the actions of asylum seekers for fear of inflaming the situation.

In Scunny, a full scale street riot, with weapons, held between Iraqis and Bengladeshis, was dealt with by police...........the chief constable invited the leaders of each community to coffee and biscuits.

Imagine the police's attitude to my two WHITE teenage sons if they kicked off a weaponed riot over one lot not talking to the other lot's women?

But, of course, there's equality in Britain. I know that because people say so..........

There was a massive knife fight down broxholme lane where they house all the asylum seekers. 40+ people screaming indeciferable jibberish at each other. And because some are muslims and others are other religions, all a bunch of retarded fcukwits, they started stabbing/clubbing each other like primatives. Whats this all about? And another, thing, that wasnt in the paper too. Whats this about also?

I wish it were just "my view". Its the way it goes round these 'ere parts. Some coppers on my side of the fence in their beliefs in the law get around it by finding something wrong with the vehicle and getting it impounded. Theirfore taking the illegal gits off the road for a while.

Some immigrants are a credit to the country... but unfortunately the government has let in literally hundreds of thousands of immigrants who are the exact opposite in the last few years. That's the problem - absolutely no vetting. It's the equivalent of inviting any old stranger off the street into your house - bit of a crazy approach.

Also the government just brings in big groups of predominately male immigrants / asylum seekers and simply dumps them in a new area and that's it! They then wonder why you get tension and problems when the indigineous people don't like it. The new comers generally don't have the same idea of society that we do! If you grew up in a town and had lived there most of your life and then suddenly overnight it was basically full of foreigners and trouble would you like it?

We can't keep pretending that there is nothing wrong and these are just the ramblings of a few 'racist' nutters. There is a very real problem that simply isn't being discussed as it should be.

Editied to add - just to bring it back on topic... motoring issues are just the tip of the ice berg.

I do have my own views on immigration and New Labour in general but am not a racist as you know. I am glad your not taking what I have said personally mate. I just acknowledge the problems and think it's about time they were raised.

As far as the car is concerned, a rear differential bearing was whining and the near side front wheel bearing has gone. There is a bit of a tale to tell on this one actually... I'll tell you about it another time.

You are wasting your intellect on this. I too can't see the jump from car accident to right wing verbal froth about immigrants; however you have been around long enough to know how SN works.

If it's not about immigrants its about the Labour party, if not that then its about how **** this country is and wouldn't it be good to emigrate, and so on. You know that the golden rule is to never let the facts get in the way of a good bit of virtual keyboard diarrhoea.

I'm on here because this is meant to be a car forum, where we have a shared interest in a certain make of car. I seek out those posts that serve that need and ignore the rest.

You cannot ever hope to change the minds of those who have issues simply because if you try you are asking people to change themselves. I have met very few people in my lifetime who are comfortable with change, met loads who like making the world fit their prejudices and misguided views.

One of the more infamous people fitting the latter category was a guy called Hitler who thought it might be a good idea to wipe out an entire race. Remember him? Not a lot has changed since except the way the arguments on race are put forward these days has got a whole lot more sophisticated and subliminal in presentation.

No-one is wanting (I hope) ALL immigrants, foreigners etc sent home. What we'd like is a level playing field, so that so-called racism can work both ways.

For every bit of anti-asian, black, indian, pakistani racism you quote, I can quote you one that's been against a white person by an asian, black etc.

But do they get into papers? Do they have a fuss made? Is it even usually even SEEN as racism? NO to all three.

If you want specifics, try the case of a local kid suspended from school here. He called an asian a black b@stard, AFTER being called a white ****, all in front of witnesses. Dealt with by school, both censured, then local asian community gets involved, white kid excluded for racism. Go figure.

What I want is for people to STOP this "us and them" mentality. Unfortunately, at least locally, it's being actively fostered by the asian community. And they are being aided by others.
