My scoobs a uk WRX bugeye.
Its either got, or will have by remap time,
a full decat including up pipe,
JR panel filter,
STi TMIC,
vf28 turbo,
grade 6 NGK platinum plugs.
Anything else I should consider that`d tie my mods together? ie fuel pump, injectors?
Im personally hoping to be comfortably above 300bhp really.
regards

The only reason I decided to put the injectors on was that the VF28 turbo runs min 280bhp on other standard scoobys like P1 and Type R etc, and Ive got 380cc injectors standard on my WRX which max out at near 270bhp, kind of made me think that everything could be running on there limits, So last miniute decided to add some STi injectors to get the best out of the turbo and other mods I had fitted.

being a 98 it's possible it cant be done (because of it's age) has it got a (OBD connector) black socket on the lower part of the dash under the steering column. If it has you're in luck. ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

No no not under the dash.. on th lower dash front should be an oblong socket that looks similar to this.

Bad news. Checked with ECUtek. Even though I have the OBD socket, my car is to old for the ECUtek. Apparently you can check by looking at the air flow meter housing. If it's got a square top its to old. If it's a round top it can take the ECUtek.

But you dont need a scooby to go past a newage WRX, if you've read some of the threads on here, all you need is a Clio sport.

As long as you've booked it in, even for the new year, you're fine, but you need to 'book' it on/before the 23rd..... and yes, the my99's are ideal to be remapped with ecutek....

But even with the mods you have in place and a remap, you will notice the differance.

Ive got one of the old Piggy Back style PPP's for my MY01 WRX.
Can this be remapped? Or is it locked?
I'd be interested if it can be remapped - i'd want the de-cat doing at the same time![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
