Thanks, did you ever sell that STI estate? Up until recently I could really have done with the extra room.

naa never sold in the end mate. Had one guy to come see it only lol n he ended up buying a cool grey one as it was the colour he was after. A good bloke though, other than that just loads of interest but no one serious.

Off the road until i can get some insurance for it. Whislt im searching i may even start "blinging" the engine bay up i.e. replace all mucky bits with new ones and repainting the manifold etc.

might as well keep it if no one is buying. N i bet when im not interested in selling ill have loads wanting it off me

"everyone has a blue scooby!!!!in england anyway"

they might be blue but they ain't "SONIC"

Sonic blue was only available in the Uk on 'specials' (P1/22B etc) - any others were imports (from Japan/Europe)

I have a 'Sonic Blue' 5 door - now thats seriously RARE!! (but its a euro import)

Prodrive P1
Rumours of the car surfaced way back in May 1999, and the 22nd September issue of Autocar had a scoop two page article with pictures of a slightly modified white WRX Type R claiming to be the forthcoming P1.

Autocar magazine brought the ultimate scoop in a 6 page article on the Prodrive P1, developed from an STi type R, it is modified for UK (and European) tastes to specifications laid out by Prodrive who were the catalysts for the project.

2 door bodyshell
UK/European green tint glass all round
Rear wash/wiper
Front lip spoiler increases efficiency and worth 3bhp at 100mph
Rear wing has an attachable "Gurney flap" for extra downforce
Suspension developed for UK/European tastes
17 inch 10 spoke OZ alloys titanium coloured
4 channel ABS
Sonic blue (paint code 74F)
90mm Hella H7 front driving lamps
Prodrive driving lamp covers
Quickshift
Alcantara suede-effect door and seat trim
Prodrive monogrammed mats, including boot
European facia with twin air bags and centre storage box
Aluminium bonnet and carbon fibre strut brace
Rear window wiper
6 speakers fitted but no head unit
Air conditioning
RAC Trackstar Guardian
Category 1 alarm/immobiliser
3 year 60,000 mile warranty
Cost £31,500, and available in mid March 2000

SO IT SEEMS EVERYONE IS RIGHT!
