Thought I would try the NEW BP Ultimate last night in my 02 STI UK
Not been far enough really to say good or bad but I picked the info leaflet up and it's interesting reading, 97 + ron ?
The stuff on the BP site gives more info and watchable videos of testing..

Seems like this new BP miracle fuel does lots for your engine including cleaning of internals 33% quicker than before... Up to 28 miles more per tank etc ??
Will give it a few tank fulls and see... so far I cant notice any difference in Optimax or Ultimate..

There's a number of threads on here for Tesco's 99 RON. They're gradually phasing out the LRP and replacing it with 99.
I've seen the 'Try Me' labels on Ultimate, I reckon they're just desperate cause both Optimax and Tesco's are a lot cheaper.

I suppose a lot depends on the state of tune of the individual engine. Mine's been mapped for Opti + octane booster so it would notice the difference more readily than a standard UK car and (in my case) Ultimate is definitely the inferior of the three.
