Wink

Started fitting my FMIC finally today... (Gary) your pictures have come in very handy today... still got the dreaded bumper to cut yet...
Got all the pipe work under the bonnet to connect up still, but won't bother as engine will be coming out soon...
PS, will be ringing you to renew my insurance mid week mate...

Save more on the sides of the bumper hole, as you really don't need to trim it there with the Hybrid core (at least on a v5/6 front end).
It'll create a neater look from an angle, and might let more air go through the core than to the side of it (unlikely, as there's a small gap anyway).

I had an old front end from my old HKS fmic, I used that as a template, and took exact measurements, this helped me enormously.

Cutting the bumper still took me the better part of an afternoon - just adjusting for the pipework coming out of the core...

Rgds

/J - very, very happy with the Hybrid kit.

Question

What did you use to cut the bumper? Did you damage the paint much?

I used a reinforced abrasive cutting disc on my old Dremel, and masking tape, no paint damage at all, patience and a steady hand is deeply recommended though.
