THIS ONE IS DEFO AN STI VERSION 1. YOU CAN SEE IT HAS WATER SPRAY, PROPER V1 STRUT BRACE. YOU CAN SEE PLAQUE ON WING AND HAS CORRECT STEERING WHEEL AND INTERIOR!! WELL WRONG LAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It doesn't just happen there! I went to look at an sti wagon at a certian Subaru dealer in Bristol.
A soon as I saw it I was concerned - only 1 (small) spoiler. Inside, standard seats, lower redline, no red bits under bonnet, etc etc.
Now I don't know everything about these, but did question the salesman about the differences (my standard WRX was better spec) went from yes, sure it is an STi, to later, well we could uprate the engine for you to get the same power...
Guess what - didn't buy it.
