The card board cutout outfit looked ok
I like her squeal and dirty laugh! although having to endure her "go faster mummy" antics last series has put me off.
And why didn't they put the times of the Evo's up on the electronic lap board!?

I appreciate having an enthusiatic motoring nut of a woman presenting a car programme.
Looks are not important (luckily for beer bellied balding Jeremy).
As long as the show is entertaining, then we should be happy.

This weeks show was miles better than last week's trash. Apart from that terrible piece about crashing those mustard-yellow Astra's into the poles. Yea, of course the 1st one would flip over if you hit the pole at the front corner, and the other car had a driver on board that could react to the impact. Proved nothing, IMHO.
That overweight beardy bloke has to go though. Not coz he's overweight or beardy, just cause he's VERY annoying. Tiff's neck muscles have obviously worn away after all that driving he's done, coz his head looks like it's about to fall off.
VBH - dont get me started. Talentless gobsh*te. End of chat.

I for one only think her driving abilty has come out from experinece moreso than skill.
She got where she is now from financial and social circumstances...like many well known racing drivers....she doesn't call her mum "mummy" for nothing
I'll happily lay money down that put us both in equally matched and setup karts she would not beat me, or several of my acquaintances, one of which is usually better than me (by one tenth, damn annoying ).
Anyhoo, TG<cough> sorry 5th gear showed some good improvement. Only because there was decent cars on there. Although the egos are still there....why can't Plato just say "Yeah, ok I DID shat myself for a second there in the Pagini". Not hard is it? But I think Tiff was somewhat humbled (but hasn't he already driven a early 90's Ferrari F1 car anyway?...can't be THAT different?? ) but I wonder if Williams "turned down" the engine a bit and tweeked the cars setup to make it more foolproof?
The sign pole test was pointless...completely neglets the points that the Astra or any other car is SUPPOSED to deform like it did when hitting the round pole...that's what crumple zones are for - to decelarate the car by deformation. Next thing we'll see is them lobbying for roadside trees to be cut down too
On the whole, this week gets my thumbs up

She is a capable presenter and her driving is also quite good. The sqealing is irritating though.
I think it is unecessarily rude to run her down for her appearance which is not that bad anyway. She is not there as a sex symbol.
The third presenter with the beard is a PIA as far as I am concerned. Tiff is a great car handler and a good presenter too.

I know what you mean. maybe it was the type of cloths that she was wearing?
Her driving skills are'nt the best, although 5th gear is not a program where the skill is being tested. (i think that came out right?)
She still is a really nice attractive presenter and a good driver.
I saw here last year at the Ralley Sunseeker event in Bournemouth in a race overhall and she looked pretty HOT...sall i say any more?
Found this pic of here
Yum yum

Anyone who says they wouldn't is lying.....or a life time member of the Blue Oyster.
ALi-B, if you go karting alot of course you'd be better, experience counts, but stick you both in a random car, and she'd probably pick it up quicker and beat you. Swallow your ego, and admit a Girl is better, there's no harm in it. I'll admit girls are better at BJ's than i would ever be [not that i have or will of course ]

My opinion. She's nothing much to look at, annoying to listen to and painfull to watch driving. I remember several occasions when the old TG entered her into some racing, and she failed miserably every time. One in particular IIRC was in Marcos', and she qualified 17th out of 20, binned it in the first corner spoiling 2 other cars races and came in last. Her lines in the Mitsi the other night were all over the shop, and every time I see her yanking on the handbrake to get a car sideways I cringe. They always end up looking like some chav joyrider razzing around a council estate. P!ss poor control on or beyond the limit, as she tries her best to copy the master of car ballet, Tiff. He may have failed as a successful racing driver, but boy can he make a car dance.
I prefered Kate Humble and Julia Bradbury on the old TG. Neither of them could drive even as good as VBH, but much nicer to look at and listen to than that over-excitable plummy stumpy munter.
Flame suit on - I don't mind the Honey Monster. I've always found him quite amusing, although James May is funnier. They both have t!ts though
I was going to write something about Plato, but I fear I may fall asleep

No, just saying she probably started off in karts, so probably has equal experince...level playing field and all that.
But sure stick me in a car...I'd need a few practice laps to aquaint myself with the car/track first though....thats is how poor a racer I think she is
Even Clarkson has managed to keep up with on certain occasions
Actually, If I put my mum thourgh some extra training, I'd think she would beat her, or at least give her a hard time...My mum is a very good and fast driver (genetics ). She might be getting a bit rusty in her 50's, but nothing a quick refresh round Mallory park wouldn't sort

and how many trees do you come across at the side of a motorway , or on a roundabout , hmmmm ?? let me think !! i would say that there are enough things that could kill people when hit by a car without erecting our own thank you ! anyway leave trees out of this !!

Kate Humble is also a very fit attractive looking. especilly in a pair of tight fitting jeans
When was Julia Bradbury in TG? I don't remember her?
I think we all should stop slating etcc VBH. We all have our own opinions which sometime we should keep to our selves.
Ok so she may take different lines around the track in those Evos, but all of the presenters Tiff and Jason do the same sort of thing...Show off.

More poeple die by hitting fixed objects on twisty A-roads than hitting any fixed objects on islands or motorways....islands you tend to slow down for (obviously!) and motorways are pretty damn straight, also usually there is crash barriers covering any fixed hazards already
When you crash on a fast A-road....you've already gone past the big sign saying "sharp right hand bend MAX speed 30mph"
Also if we're going to have deformable sign posts...should we have deformable GATSO posts too (oops I accidentally knocked over a speed camera with my JCB, oh dear, what a shame )

Another thing about that pole test. For the new one all the companies techys and directors were there and very interested to see the results........
So they were basically saying they'd launched a product with NO testing AT ALL As surely the company should have done all that before it even went into use.

I believe thay have these signs installed already on the new(ish) A46 between Redditch to Evesham along with some "steel rope" as a central reservation. Probably installed a pilot test scheme. Although I might be getting mixed up with a stretch of road around Worcester - but I have definetely seen them round those neck of the woods though.

Why do any of you bother watching the motoring progs?? Is it soley so you can spend the following few days complaining about every aspect of them on BBS' ??
Don't fookin watch it ! Your time would be better spent going out and trying to find a girlfriend by the sounds of things.

Scoobynet would be very boring if nobody watched 5th gear and everyone agreed it was crap.
