New Scooby 04,

Interesting what you say about the M series brakes. I have an M3 Evo which is fitted as standard with the M5 brakes so they do have to cope with a lighter car I suppose. I have found these brakes to be particularly effective with no fading even with repeated apllications.

Its not my opinion based on personal experience Les, I'm just repeating what I've heard in numerous magazine reviews. I'm sure you're right though as I frequently hear that Scooby four pots aren't up to much and yet my experience if them is similar to yours in the BMW i.e. They're fine. Just goes to show Magazines don't have the definitive view eh! :-)

To be honest its a Track thing, M Power brakes are fine on road. For whatever reason (bad design? no airflow?) they suffer from heavy sustained use.

Haven't tried this one on a track yet so cant comment on what rr_ww says. They certainly feel very powerful for fast road use and never show any loss of ability. Also had one of the Scooby's with the original calipers which were pretty awful, when I refitted it with 4 pots it was a great deal better but still not in the same class as the M3 Evo.
