Ah, sh@t! you know what this means? there'll be a culling of chicken meaning a shortage and just like the fuel protests, everyone will be queing up outside KFC!!! I'll never get my bargain bucket now!!

Anyway - the whole thing is just panic mongering, trying to get us not to notice how unemployment is increasing, inflation is on the up, manufacturing is in recession, pensions are buggered and basically Tony and Gordo have reached 'payback day' - If they shoudl bird flu enough and then someone takes a day off sick, they can blame the buggered economy on some undercooked chicken nugget.
