You are quite wrong about Porsche's use of the model name though. As you will have seen in my earlier post, the first car to bear the name was the quad cam 356 which used the 550 Spider engine. Porsche reserved the 'Carrera' name limited production models until 1983, when it used it on what was intended to be the 911's final incarnation.

I have a 430 BHP factory upgrade 993TT which is play station fast in every area. I have had Bilsteins fitted and having owned most other fast cars before, the TT stands out by a mile in it's ability.
Noticed one or two contributors are Scottish based. If they want to contact me, as a fellow car fanatic I would be happy to take them for a short spin in the car. I know that years ago, I would have jumped through hoops backward to get a run in any supercar.
