What's the ad where the guy is living with his girlfriend and her two kids? Towards the end, the little girl throws her arms round him but the teenager lad just shakes his hand.. That ad is so true

Thumbs down

I hate those insurance ads with the dog called "Lucky"

Why any insurance company would want to be associated with customers who come soooo close to disaster all the time, i don't know

Oh, and the advert has also failed in it's primary purpose, 'cos i can't remember what insurance company it was for in the first place

Anything with Chavs advertising loans/consolitation loans
Picture the loan - i would beat that **** till my hand fell off!
Argos ads with RE Grant and Julia swaslliaihalllialia(or however you spell it)

Best
The 'Three' advert with the oriental women being raided by the music police with the pink ear muffs - almost pornographic
Guiness with the three guys devolutioning (is that a word?!?)
Now toshiba ad for the laptop
HP printer ads with the guy with the picture frames - just so clever and simple
Chicken and beef tonight with the panda
Citroen C4 funky robot

Oh, forgot about the Citroen robot, superb.

Anything really good gets banned, remember the Nutralia one where we saw nipple, banned, the btitish public cant cope with a nipple, unbeleiveable.

On the continent, its pretty dodgy what they show, remember seeing an ad on Tarrants show about personal hygeine and it showed a girl starkers giving her muff a good old soaping, and thats a public information film, we get singing hedgehogs.

Ditto on the Halifax, the whole Howard thing does grate, I heard (it may be wrong) that he got payed for the initial ad and signed over his image to be used and they have hammered it ever since, also the guy in the ad's isnt the original one.

Coco F*ckin Pops, that is the most long running aggravating ad ever.

My best (as someone has already posted) is the Stella Artois one with the religious men on the ice lake.

There faces & actions crack me up

I love the music - superbly played on the piano....

Long shot but does anyone know what the name of this music is? - I'm sure its vaguely well known. I think i've heard it before.

I would soooo love to be able to play the piano like that!

How has this thread made it to 3 pages without anyone mentioning Cillit Bang? It is the worlds worst ever advert - especially the new version with the woman in it!

Best ads - the Guinnes one and the Vauxhall Zafira ones with the 2 kids talking like adults!

And I happen to like one of the radio ads for the Wild Bean Cafe - the one where he's clearly been drinking coffee all day and is talking at the speed of light and finishes with "Help me"

I'd like someone to explain the relationship of the Orange mobile phone company with blowing up orange balloons in the shape of thier tarriffs in some god forsaken backwater in the middle of nowhere.
That's confused the hell outta me.

I can remember the first time I saw that advert. You know the bit at the end with the brunette asleep face down on the bed and it's bouncing? I thought it was gonna pan back to some bloke doing her up the dirter

The ostrich hurrying home 'cos he hasn't got Sky+ is superb. Simple but says it all. I like the one with the penguins too.

The guy who was fitting a fire alarm but given the wrong type of ladder creases me too. Those type of ads are usually annoying, but his misfortune is hilarious.

Hate Picture, Cilit, Double Glazing, in fact most ads. When they come on it's time for a cuppa or a flick through to see if there's nothing on the other 56 channels

I remember when I was a kid, the IBA ruled that there be no more than six minutes per hour of advertising. Obviously that rule no longer exists.
On Sky in particular, there seems to be around 20 minutes of ads per hour.

I'd have to admit though, I never watch them as I tend to channel hop during ad breaks. Surely that what the remote control's for?

I HATE AD's
