How about showing us some of that superior structured reasoning then and produce an argument either supporting or refuting the position that B2Z is a hypocrite for thinking hunting is cruel whilst cat ownership is acceptable.
I have re-reviewed your posts and they seem to consist largely of frivolous bunkum with a twist of provocation. I am surprised 15 year olds don't eat you alive!

Youve never seen battery hens and their treatment then have you. It is barbaric. At least Reynard has a good life before it's ripped to pieces.
And as for Blair, I never for one minute thought he gave a toss about the working man, he was after votes that's all.

An interesting reply, Flatcap.
I don't understand the need for all the hysteria about the culling of animals and seem to remember posting previously on a similar thread.
Foxes are beautiful animals, and I have watched their young cubs playing together but they require control.
I am not keyboard-warrioring but have participated in a few kills. No horses, red coats or Beagles.
A lamp and a 0.222 or a 4:10 will sort things out. No snobbery, just management.
Mink are worse and will kill just for fun.
If the likes of race-horses and Rainbow Trout weren't admired and enjoyed by human beings do you think they would continue to exist? Personally I can't stand either but I see their role in things.
The same thing goes for all the Vegans. Our hills would be covered in Spruce trees, with no livestock whatsoever.
Animals require to be nurtured, managed, slaughtered or fleeced, with vermin kept under control, just like any crop. If there were no economic requirement for the beasts, there would be no farmers.
Just keep the vermin under control simply and humanely.
Even cats have a purpose.

I have no issue with your question and my answer is this: Those teenagers (not children in my view) were not killed by anyone, they killed themselves. When I saw the news I didn't see it as the loss of 5 young people, I saw it as the loss of 5 car thieves to which I was glad about. If it had been an accident involving innocent people then I would have been saddened by it. These car thieves were from one of the worst parts of Hastings (I live in the region so we had a lot of coverage on the news) and I would assume that stealing this car was just a tiny part of a bigger picture to do with their background. I do not believe these teenagers would have grown up to be sensible law abiding people, more of a case if they are stealing cars at 14 by the time they are 20 they would be doing far more serious crimes. That is only my opinion, but its based upon the facts of what they were doing, how young they were to be doing that and where they are from. Hastings is a particularly nasty place at the best of times and when I have been there at night I have been more concerned for my safety then I have ever been when out in London. It is a crime haven and there are more muggings, rapes, serious assaults in Hastings than most of the rest of the country. 5 less car thieves and potentially serious criminals on the street is a good thing.

I'm really not trying to catch you out here, just interested.

Anglers do more than any other organisation to monitor and report water pollution which is the greates killer of fish by far. Not a nice way to die either. The CAA would do far more good to concentrate on stopping the polluters.
Cats are very good at dissuading mice and rats living in your house, unless you would like that as well!
I am very much a wild life lover which is one reason that I live in the country. I also see nothing wrong in catching a fish or a rabbit for the pot. I don't agree with killing for the sake of it however.
