Thanks for your advise, but to be fare mate id sooner not post or pm any sort of information like that as there's so much ringing of cars that goes on. Kind of an easy way for someone to get a legal cars details without any personal contact.
I thought it was down to the buyer to hpi before they buy? But like I said, thanks for your advise mate.
Cheers shimy.

Ayup Jam, how are you mate?
Someone bidded on it and won it, sent me an email saying they would pick it up in 2 days, but then ebay sent me an email letting me know that the person who won it is no longer a registered user on ebay and has closed their account....
Havent heard anything since mate....
Thats bad ebayers for you I suppose!

I find it strange that your bothering yourself to argue about something that your neither bothered about or are actually buying, after I allready thanked you for your advice in my last post!...For your information I hpi every car I buy so yes I have hpi'd the car, and after buying over 40 cars im quite sure I know what im talking about........
As I said I have know problem with giving people a cars reg/vin number but it just seems more practical and a bit more genuin for both partys, that instead of Posting or PM'ing that sort of information, if someone comes and has a look at the car and if they want it Hpi it over the phone or via my internet, then both buyer and seller are happy that each other are genuin!
Im sorry, but I realy do think good sites like scoobynet are ruined by do gooders like yourself who feel its their duty to get involved in something that realy dose not concern them, and im shore im rite in saying that, cause I can bet you'll read this and not be able to stop yourself from replying to something that as I said, had nothing to do with you in the first place!
Cheers Shimy......

For a start, who said I havent got the Report?!
And second, who said that I "Refused" to give the details? and who has actually asked me for them, for me to refuse?!
I'll remind you that I said, "I'd prefer not to Post or Pm those sort of details"!
Does that sound like im refusing to give them?!
Shorley you can understand why someone would not want to post or pm on the internet those kind of details?!
For a start the person your sending it to could be anyone, you've got no other way of contacting this person, you dont have a contact number, you dont know where this persons from, and you dont even know their real name! For instance, your name on heres BOB'5, for all I know your name could be Simon!!
Now think about it, does it realy seem smart to send those sort of details over the internet? Or does it seem a bit more genuin for the person to at least phone you for them? Then at least you have a contact number for the person...

rob: shimy has an m3 already he is not interested in a swap with yours.
bob'5: the car is hpi clear and the details are available for genuine buyers.
anyone else: this is a really fantastic piece of kit, anyone that really knows shimy will tell you that he has thrown lots of cash at it, nothing will have been avoided or done on the cheap.

Picked it up last night, and after driving it home 3+hours in freezing fog and getting home at 3am in the morning. I am the proud owner of a top scoob.
What can I say Top Bloke, and great car, better still the mark on the door 'T' cut out
Anyone thinking about the type 'R', its a very nice example. And if funds would have allowed I would have had both.
Cheers Shimmy. and sorry for the late one!
