The Treasure Hunt is really an excuse to drive some "interesting" local roads. I have mapped out a route to take in some scenery, but most importantly, some challenging twisty roads.
To make sure people don't kill the locals in the villages (kidding ) there will be some clues to various landmarks (so you'll have to slow down to look for them), and there will be a modest prize for the first person to get the correct answers back to me (they will get to buy a round )....

As I drive around 40k motorway miles a year in the Co car, I won't be travelling down the M4 to the meet on Saturday.
Anyone who'd like to follow along some nice b roads should meet us in the lay-by which is just north of junction 18 off the M4 on the A46. I'll be there from around 11.20 with the intention of leaving by 11.30
The pace will be steady as Ian will be in his P1 !! - Not run in yet..
See you Sat'
Steve.

Steve,
If you are heading through Malmesbury, there's a great run if you take the Cricklade Road (from the Water Tower roundabout), and from Cricklade head towards Purton - at turn for Purton carry straight on (sharp left hand bend). At Crossroads (road bears right), head straight over signed for Blunsdon. Beware of some big pot holes on this road. As you climb the hill, look for a turning on your right into Abbeymeads and that will bring you out at the new Asda / Walmart development.
I may see you at Juntion 16, otherwise catch you all at the Manor Farm.

Hi all,
Certainly an entertaing day trying to keep up with Bob aka mad bob as my gf called him after his overtaking manoveres (sp?).
Thanks to NickB for organising the treasure hunt, although I only managed to get upto question 3
Mark
PS Ive got a couple of videos of the day, I'll attempt to get posted up somewhere within the next couple of days.

Nice to see the lads again and the new faces that seem to be appearing more often now. I think the sun brings them all out
It was a good run at times lots of trafic but I did enjoy the sprints we had and Dave only screemed the once . That's the cars fault, to slow without the link, hope the P1 performs better.
Ian/ Have you cleaned the flies off yet?
