Tony, what exactly are you saying, do you feel this car is not as advertised?

What may be confusing is the special edition nature of the WR Ltd. AFAIK, Subaru felt that there was a market for people wanting the Spec C as, going a little against what the Spec C was all about, people were selecting Electric Windows (fronts mainly), Air Con and some sound proofing back in (mainly around the engine bay) they brought out this edition which had selectable STI bits back on.. BTW does this have Leccy windows and Aircon?

I believe the RA sticks to the original stripped bare principle, but the WR Ltd may not be seen as a 'pure' C.

I very nearly bought a White RA from Just Sports, but as I'd use the car as a daily drive it was a little too raw & uncompromising for daily use.

Therefore I'm exactly the type of person who would buy the Ltd. In fact my T20 is probably in a similar mould, with similar geometry, steering, tuning, handling etc.. but with all the 'luxury' bits on to make it ideal for me...

Alan, I feel what you are saying is correct. I asked Tony a direct question to clarify his position. If Tony is trying to raise a discussion from a "purist" standpoint, I think this may have been better served in a different thread. His comments have not in any way aided the sale of this car, which I think has been advertised correctly.

Mike. Having seen the car (and posted my feelings) I feel the car is a stunning bit of kit and is exactly as advertsied..

It has been built to the highest standards of care and attention and uses top notch parts.. Its presence, attention and comments by all that saw it is testatment to that.

It's a Spec C, and a lot more, and anyone in the market for such a car wont be put off by anything said here..

Anyway.. I think it's been agreed that it is a Spec C

Nuff said..
