when i worked in a garage i wore a thermal thing with long sleeves, and 3 fleeces! lol!

i got up this morning, de-iced the windscreen to sit in car and find it was the INSIDE of the windscreen that had iced over

Chipsngravy, I do that as well, sit inside watching it though, well sometimes, we live in a nice area in a cul-de-sac, would be very surprised if anyone pinched it, I think leaving it running on your own property is allowable, just not on the public highway, my main concern isnt it getting pinched but kids getting in it and squashing each other so I only do it at 7 am when they are still tucked up in bed.

Its an expensive alternative but Clifford Remote Engine Start will make sure your car is nice and warm before you get in. You can start it from inside the comfort of your own home. It shouldn't in theory get stolen then due to the immobiliser . No need to leave the keys in either!
